"Hey get out of the way." Sheriff Stilinski ordered as he made his way over.

The body was attached to a tree by a dog collar and blood covered it, the wound clear on his neck. Hayley couldn't take looking at it and had turned the other way to face the three boys instead. Seeing a dead body in real life is nothing like on a TV show. It's so, so much worse

"Get back. Get this area coronered off before they trample every piece of evidence."

"Back up! Everyone back!" A deputy ordered and Hayley felt her hands begin to shake as the severity of the situation sunk in. She had seen a dead body and that image would not leave her mind.

"Dad, just come here." Stiles grabbed his father and pointed at the neck on the dead body, "Look, look. Look at it. It's the same as the others, you see?"

Hayley furrowed her brows. Other what? She really hoped it wasn't dead bodies.

"Yeah, I see that." Sheriff Stilinski agreed, his voice serious. "Do me a favour. Go back to school, yeah? Stiles looked at him annoyed before walking over to Hayley, Scott and Isaac.

"Coach, can you give us a hand here?" Sheriff asked.

"You heard the man. Nothing to see here. Probably just some homeless kid." Coach shouted to the class.

"Coach." Scott said.

"Yeah?"

"He was a senior." Coach sighed and placed a hand over his mouth in shock.

Hayley grabbed Stiles' arm. She needed some form of comfort and felt her subconscious instantly go to Stiles. He seemed to help her overactive mind calm down and she wasn't quite sure why. Stiles put his hand over Hayley's and squeezed it.

"He wasn't on the team, was he?" Coach asked.

Their attention was taken as a women with blonde hair came running forwards screaming at the body. "Kyle! Oh, god, Kyle!" she screamed. She was being held by the deputy as she tried to run forwards, her face streaming with newly shed tears. Stiles tried to move towards her but was stopped by his father.

They walked down the hill as Stiles' father gestured them away, "You see the way the twins looked at him?" Isaac asked, having obvious anger for the alpha twins.

"Yeah, you mean like they had no idea what happened?" Stiles countered. He glanced at Hayley in worry. The girl hadn't spoken a word since seeing the body. She was biting her lip as she stared in another direction- her mind in another place.

"No, no, they knew." Isaac argued, glaring at them in distaste.

"The kid was strangled with a garrotte, all right?" Stiles said his arms moving in his over the top hand gestures. "Am I the only recognising the lack of werwolfitude in these murders?"
