Brianna's POV

"Bree?" My best friend, Lucy, asked me for what felt like the hundredth time that evening as we were about to walk into the club that was just down the road from where I lived. "Are you sure this is a good idea?"

"Yes Lu, just because people and books say that because you broke up with a guy you need to cry your heart out and get fat doesn't mean that's the solution!" I almost shouted in frustration. I hated the thought of just wallowing  tears over a guy - it didn't make any sense to me. "We both look hot and we'll both go in there, get drunk, dance, maybe even get laid all whilst forgetting whats-his-face in the process. Instead of being upset, hold your head up high and celebrate your new renounced freedom!"

"Bree, I loved him I can't just forget about us breaking up and dancing!" She argued as her eyes glazed over.

"Okay Lu, how long have you been friends?" I asked.

"5 years." She muttered.

"And what have I always said time and time again?"

"Everyone leaves eventually so there is no point of thinking your in love, because love is just a sorry excuse for people to hurt themselves more when that happens." She mumbled in a low, resigned voice while I smiled.

"Exactly, and you should've listened to me. Since you didn't then, then you are going to listen to me now okay?" I asked knowing I already won as she nodded her head a minute later and we entered the bar.

Adrian's POV

I watched as person after person entered the club, it wasn't  crowded thankfully,  and I just hoped the tips were worth it today. Since the bar I was stationed at was almost right next to the entrance, I could see each person clearly.

Two girls in particular stood out, while one looked a cute kind of sexy (is that possible) in a light pink halter dress with two cuts on the side and her long light brown hair curled at falling at one side of her neck while her hazel eyes showed a cute shyness and a bit of innocence as well - she was gorgeous.

The other however was almost the total opposite, with short jet black hair that completed her face and a red form fitting short dress that emphasised both, her bright green eyes and her every curve - I honestly couldn't tell which distracted me more. I could tell she was a fiery and free-spirited kind of women and she had an aura of confidence that just makes you think "she's hot and she knows it". She was breath-taking.

I was about to look away to the customer calling my name when she suddenly looked my way and , seeing me staring, winked at me and then grabbed her friend's hand and walked further inside the club. She freaking winked at me!

"Dude! Where's my beer!" A guy shouted and I turned to give him what he wanted.

After a few minutes I noticed the two girls I'd seen earlier taking a seat at the bar waiting for me to serve them. "And what would you two beautiful ladies want to drink tonight?"

"Surprise us," The one with short black hair told me.

"Didn't anyone teach you that you should never say?" I asked with a raised eye-brow.

"Not if I don't care where I'll end up." She retaliated with a smirk. "I'm young, I'm free and I wanna have fun so you better make it good and strong."

"Aye aye captain." I said with a mock salute before preparing the drinks and handing them to each of the girls.

After them having their first drink the brunette left with some guy after whispering something in her friends ear and I took that as my chance so making another drink that I had a feeling she would like of my own creation I went to her.

"You know, I didn't order another." She pointed out.

I shrugged, "Seems like someone is trying to impress you."

She scoffed, "And might I ask whom exactly that might be?"

"Only if you tell me your name." I teased.

"My mother told me not to give my name out to strangers you know?" She said with a small smile.

I feigned hurt as I placed a hand on my heart. "I just bought you a drink and yet you still think of me as a stranger? I'm hurt, babe. And to think we were really connecting over these past ten minutes."

She bit her lip and I could tell that she was suppressing a smile. "So it's you who want's to impress me huh?"

"Guilty as charged." I told her.

"I warn you then, it takes a lot to impress me with all the guys pinning after me." She sighed dramatically.

I laughed, "Drink that and let's see if you still aren't impressed."

"You mean I need to get drunk to actually find you attractive?" Ouch.

"Please!" I scoffed arrogantly. "You know I'm hot, I know I'm hot...might as well accept it as a fact of this world."

She shook her head in amusement as she checked me out and I knew that what I'd said had been true. I looked at the clock and was relieved to see that I only had five minutes of my shift left and that my co-worker was apparently doing well handling the other customers by himself. I swear I forgot I was even working for a second there.

She took a sip of her drink, "I admit, this is good. What is it?"

"Haven't found the perfect name yet, however that may change if I got your name?" I told her.

"Really? You want to impress me by naming a drink after me?" She laughed shaking her head.

"Ever met a guy willing to do that for you before?" I asked her. She thought for a while and then slowly shook her head once again. "Then I get points for originality." I grinned.

To my relief she too smiled and held her hand out, "Brianna Moon."

"Adrian Smith." I said shaking her hand. "You know my shift just ended..."

"Wanna get out of here then? Maybe you can show me just how much you can impress me." She raised an eyebrow and I could see a small smirk etched to her face and the playfulness in her green eyes.

"Oh babe, you'll be impressed alright." I said confidently as I told my co-worker that I was done for the night and then lead her out of there to what I was positive would be a very impressive night for the both of us.
