Chapter 32

Josie pov***

I woke up in Buckys arms. He was so peaceful sleeping. I got up and went to my room to get changed. I needed to talk to zemo. I need to see if he found anything to help with my hydra side. I just threw in some random pieces of clothes.

Still hot though. I walked out to see Steve standing there with bags under his eyes he looked exhausted.. "Steve you ok?"

He didn't say anything he just pulled me into a hug. I felt his tears hit my cheek. He radiated sadness. Then I remembered I locked him out to escape. Still in his embrace I said "I am so sorry I hurt you Steve.."

He flinched and pulled away keeping me arms length away "Josie no, I am sorry I couldn't help you.."

I looked at him confused "what do you mean?"

He let out a breath "Josie you had no choice. I was beside myself. It felt like it was my fault I should of known you would come looking for Bucky I was irresponsible."

I shook my head "this is no ones fault but hydra. Steve I'm ok I'm here now. Please. Let's move on and end this."

He nodded "you're right." He sniffled and let out a laugh "Zemo missed you he's waiting in the lab, he said he didn't want to seem eager and get punched by Bucky." He hesitated but eventually said "we all tried to get into the room wanda spelled it.."

I laughed "well I'm glad she did y'all don't understand privacy." I rolled my eyes and walked away shaking my head with my arms crossed. I left Steve in a fit of laughter.

I made it up to the lab and saw zemo through the windows. He had on glasses pointing at things on the monitor while the spider kid wrote things down. I walked in and the kid froze but zemo relaxed and walked over to me with his hands in his pockets. He looked down at the floor staring at his shoes "hi."

I ran into him hugging him tightly. He let out a deep sigh "Peter you are dismissed."

"Oh thank god shes scary!"

Zemo and I laughed. We parted and he handed me something from his pocket "Turkish delight?"

I giggled and took it bowing "thank you kind sir."

He shook his head "I'm guessing you're here for answers?"

I rolled my eyes "and the Turkish delights. Duh."

He laughed. "Well here." He slid a file to me "this is everything I have."

I read it. Nothing on destroying my hydra side. I know he saw disappointment in my eyes "Josie. Destroying the hydra side would result in you losing the power of the super soldier and unfortunately I kinda like you being unstoppable.."

I looked up at him shocked he continued "what?! I don't have to worry if you'll survive because as you can see you are unkillable. I haven't told anyone that."

I stared at him "well that's wonderful to know am I immortal then?"

He smiled "yup. You will love forever my dear." He walked over to me "more Turkish delight for you."

I let a little giggle escape "zemo I don't want to live forever."

He looked at me shocked "really?" He paused "well there is one way to kill you but you are the one that has to do it. You use all your powers to kill yourself."

I just stared what the actual fuck.. some way to die that is. He moved next to me bumping my arm "kidding. You die just like everyone else just super super extremely hard to kill you at all."

I shot you punching his arm a littler harder than intended "oh god sorry.. but MEAN!"

He laughed "ow. Ok I deserved it."

Just then Bucky came in "why didn't you tell me you left the room?!"

Zemo shot me a look "I'll be in my room if you need me.."

I nodded. I turned to Bucky my eyes softened as I looked at him. He's perfect. "I didn't want to wake you..you needed the sleep."

He ran his hand in his hair "Sorry just on edge. It's been a rough 34 hours." I just looked at him taking in his features. Think I can get away with a joke? Like that's stopped me before. "Well zemo said I can't be killed and live forever so technically I should be worried about you."

I shrugged my shoulders and his eyes got wide. "Are you serious..?" I tried holding in my laugh. And he narrowed his eyes at me "Josie..."

I burst out laughing "sorry I had to. No I die like everyone else. Just really fucking powerful."

He rolled his eyes pulling me into his arms "I should punish you." I bit my lip and released it slowly. He leaned in and bit it, sucking just a little and picked me up slamming me on the counter. "Right here, right now."

My eyes turned to slits "yeah right."

He proved me wrong. He legit fucked me all over the lab. He was buckling his pants and I was pulling my hair to the outside of my jacket when Tony walked in. "Party tonight your home so naturally party."

We laughed "ok Tony wouldn't expect anything less. I was wondering when the party was."

He smirked "there's always a party planned." I shook my head and walked out with Bucky tailgating me. "Jo, I'll see you later I have to go train and talk to Steve." When I didn't turn to him he caught my waist and slammed me into the wall "I said I'll see you later."

I looked up at him smiling "god I love you." He bent down and kissed me. "See you later got stuff." He shook his head and we went separate ways.

I walked into my room I was about to walk into my closet when I saw someone sitting in the chair in my room. "Shut it Josie and lock it. We have a lot to talk about."
