Madelyn put the car in park after pulling into the driveway and then put her head against her seat before closing her eyes and letting out a long sigh.

It's been a long afternoon and a very busy week. But it was all so exciting and the happiness she's felt on your cozy little vacation hasn't dwindled even once, even now.

It's late and she's feeling quite tired. The drive was long and she was feeling it all catch up to her.

She knows it's caught up to you. You've been sound asleep for the last couple of hours.

Madelyn knew as soon as she heard the silence coming from you when she was trying to talk with you to keep herself awake.

You were out cold, doing nothing but letting out a soft sound here and there as you moved in your sleep.

She hates waking you, especially when you've been busy the last few days.

But you're home now and you'll be much more comfortable in bed.

She reached over and put her hand on your arm. She brushed the tips of her fingers along your skin and you stirred a little, although you didn't wake up, or even open your eyes.

"Hey, babe. We're home. It's time for bed. Let's go upstairs."

You just stirred as she shook your shoulder, trying to roll over so you could pish her away and just sleep.

Shee chuckled and kissed the side of your head.

"You're not waking up anytime soon, are you?" She asked, teasing you a little.

But when you didn't wake up, she knew you weren't going to be getting out of this car and into the house on your own anytime soon.

She took off her seatbelt and got out of the car. She walked to your side and opened the door before she knelt down in front of you.

She took a second just to admire you, which she's been doing a lot lately.

While you'd get a few hours of sleep on vacation, she'd stay awake for a little while, just to watch you sleep and listen to you breathe as she thanked her lucky stars for being able to spend every day by your side and enjoy every adventure that came your way.

She snapped out of her thoughts and smiled over how cute you looked as you slept.

She put her arms around you and lifted you from the car and into her arms.

You buried your face in her neck and breathed in her smell. You stirred a little, just enough to realize what was happening, which caused you to smile against her neck as she unlocked the door.

She closed it behind her with her foot and headed for the stairs. A cute giggle fell from her lips as she felt your eyelashes tickle her neck.

"Are you awake?" She asked as she climbed the stairs carefully with her arms wrapped around you.

It was a few seconds later when you replied.

"No,"

She giggled again and kissed your head.

She reached the bedroom and laid you down on the bed. She saw you shiver slightly and frowned.

She tiptoed to the closet before returning to your side. She helped you sit up and pulled her hoodie over your head before gently laying you back down.

Her eyes lit up when you opened yours.

"Hey, cutie. I see you're awake now." She said as she booped your nose.

"I was so tired." You mumbled.

"I can tell." She teased. "But it's okay. I'm tired too."

She brushed her lips against your forehead, both of you closing your eyes for a second as her lips touched your skin.

She pulled away a second later and then draped the blankets up to your shoulders.

"I'll cuddle you in a few minutes. I'm going to unpack the car first."

"No," you whined and wrapped your fingers around hers. "Don't go. We don't need anything uregnetly. We're just going to cuddel and sleep. Please wait until the morning."

"Oh, alright." She said and rolled her eyes playfully. "I guess cuddles do sound better than unpacking."

You rolld into her arms as she laid down beside you.

She tangled her legs with yours and gave you a few kisses on your head, watchinf with bright eyes as you closed your heavy ones.

"You're so cute and I'm so in love with you, y/n. Sleep tight and have sweet dreams."

You smiled against her chest, where you laid your head to listen to her heartbeat as you drift back off to sleep.

"I had the time of my life with you this week. I can't wait to have more quality time with you very soon." She whispered into your ear and hugged you closer as she close her eyes, ready for another good night's sleep with ou in her arms.
