Chapter 12

"I love you"

Katsuki whispered his words. The sensation of feeling Izuku's cold hands felt somewhat satisfying.

Katsuki pulled away. Holding back his urge to embrace Izuku.

"W-What's wrong? Katsuki?" Izuku called out, his worry became more apparent.

"Izuku. I can't do this, not with you." Katsuki mumbled.

"What?" The greenette questioned, not sure he heard anything right.

"If you can't take your silly ass and accept my leaving, then we were never anything." Katsuki sighed, turning to his mother who struggled to pull herself up.

"Just pretend you never knew me."

As Katsuki disappeared with his mother into the distance after he helped her up, Izuku pondered.

He pondered his causes, his conflicts, his choices.

"Katsuki...doesn't know me?" He asked. His voice dressed in discomfort in sadness.

At this point the nomu had disappeared and Izuku was all alone.

Tears flooded his eye-lids.

"Fuck....you're so mean, Katsuki." Izuku chuckled to himself before flopping to the ground.

"So mean.."

Katsuki rushed his mom to the hospital, in worry that she had any injuries that might be fatal.

When they got to the hospital, Katsuki signed them up and were taken inside in about 5 minutes of waiting. The male paced around the waiting room in hopes that she would be able to survive.

What can he say? He worries about his mother a lot more than he should.

Katsuki stopped pacing when he heard a door click open. He spun around to see who the person was and smiled.

"Dr!" He called out.

"Yes, Mr.Bakugou. Your mother only needed a few stitches but she does have a sprained leg. We'll have to put her in a cast until it heals." The doctor said, looking down at his clipboard.

"Please sign this, it'll allow her for a steady release." The man said, passing Katsuki the clipboard.

Katsuki took the clipboard and read over the conditions and terms. He found it fair and signed it, then handed it back to the doctor.

"Thank you. She'll be released in 2 weeks. Goodbye, Mr.Bakugou." The doctor said before turning and leaving back through the door he came.

Katsuki stood there and smiled, "Thank goodness."

As Katsuki made his way home, it began to rain.

After finding out his dad had a stroke and passed away, Katsuki realized that without his mom-

He'd be all alone.

Katsuki opened his front door to a dark and silent house.

He slipped off his shoes and made his way upstairs where he heard a sound in his room.

Katsuki silently stepped to the room and peeked inside.

It was Izuku, he had gotten into his room and was looking through it.

"Izuku...?" He said aloud quietly.

The greenette turned to Katsuki just as lightning struck.

The blond flinched and stepped away from the door until he hit a wall.
