"You know, at some point in life, I might even be gone. Maybe far away where you can't reach me, Kazu."
"What do you mean by that?"
Kazuha tilted his head in confusion, which Tomo replied with a heartfelt laugh.
Either way, Tomo continued with his words, "You'll learn when you're older, so don't worry too much. You'll find someone more important to you than me, Kazu."
Kazuha's face dropped, leaning onto the hospital bed his dearest friend layed on.
"But you're the only one I know.." Kazuha muttered softly as Tomo gave a grin.
"For now at least."
Kazuha let out a hum, resting his head on the soft, white covers of the bed. He wondered of what Tomo meant by "someone more important to you other than me." Kazuha soon fell into a nap that soon turned into a horror.
"Smile, Kazuha. I may not be with you anymore, but someone may light up your world one day."

"Kazuha! You're staring your first day of school, are you ready?"
Kazuha snapped out of his thoughts, "Right, sorry."
His adoptive parent, Beidou, raised an eye brow. "What are you sorry about?"
"Oh, uh, I was dozing off.. I know you guys told me to stop doing that often.."
Beidou let out a chuckle. "You heard that from Ning'. It's alright, I don't mind it. Just do well in school, Kay?"
Letting out a hum, the car Beidou drove came to a stop in front of a familiar tall building. Kazuha's been in there a few times only to sign up, take a tour, etc just about his new school. Though, it was hard for him to make friends due to the fact that he kept switching schools every other month. The people he's met only aimed for his money, or to gain fame; it's been a while since someone has asked about his actual true colors.
