Imagine owning a cat cafe and bonten!Mikey visits you almost everyday just to order a hot chocolate as his daily beverage. He only keeps staring at the fur-balls as he sits with one leg atop the other and rests his head on his knuckles. Sometimes when no one's looking, he picks up a cat and runs his hand through it's fur and quaintly smiles. He thinks no one's looking but you have your eyes on him whenever you're not working- and sometimes in a full moon, you get to see the little smile that adorns his face. A little melancholic, you'd say, but definitely a pretty sight. Until one day, you gather up the courage to finally confront him after a long while of your unrequited admiration and the first thing you say is, "You're a regular in my cat cafe and you never talk to anyone when you're here. It seems a little rude of you, but the cats seem to love you."
Mikey stares, no particular emotion garnering at his face and you mentally slap yourself for calling him rude the moment you decide to talk. "I- I'm sorry for that, I was just wondering how the cats love you so much."
He looks up at you and then to the cat laying on his lap, "Like you said, I'm a regular. You can even get attached to a beast if it stays with you."
You bend down, smiling at him in the same lenient way he smiled at the cats, "Then, is this why I like you too?"
