Morning Voice

Solido rushed to get ready and started speedwalking towards Y/N's house. He knocked on the door. He had to knock twice. "Yes? Oh, hi Solido." Estella opened the door she had clearly just woken up.

"I'm sorry for waking you up but I came to see Y/N." Solido said. "Yes, of course. Come in." Estella said moving out of the doorway. Solido walked upstairs.

He slowly opened the door and saw Y/N laying there. "Hey." Solido said walking towards the bed. "Hey Solido." Y/N said in his morning voice, he had recently woken up.

Solido turned around to close the door with wide eyes. Holy shit! He thought calming himself down. "S-so how you've been? Do your wounds feel better?" Solido said with a more steady voice.

"Yeah, I don't know how I'm going to repay you." Y/N had something in mind but it was more beneficial for himself than Solido so he scratched it out, but then again....

No, that was not happening. Not yet...
"It was nothing really." Solido was just really proud of himself.

"So can you get up?" Solido asked Y/N. "Yeah, I've just been too lazy at the moment." Y/N said in a joking tone. Solido sat beside him.

Y/N really was lazy but he sat up. Soldio turned to face him and they were inches away. Solido stared at Y/N.

Oh fuck. Solido had just realized how close Y/N had gotten. He was flustered but didn't move. "What's wrong Solido?" Y/N said. He was in slight pain but Solido's reaction was worth it.

"N-nothing." Solido still hadn't looked away. "Well, excuse me. We should be heading down. Have you had breakfast?" Y/N said nonchalantly.

"Yea we should be heading down!" Solido said quickly standing up. Y/N sat up slowly. "Are you sure you don't need help?" Solido was still worried. "I'm fine really, just tired." Y/N said standing up straight.

Solido walked towards the door. As he was about to open it Y/N spoke. "Yo Solido." Y/N said more shyly. "What happened?" Solido said smiling looking at Y/N. "So I know we have been good friends for about a year now, but..."Y/N said bashfully.

"But..." Solido said, motioning him to continue. "But I was wondering of course if your comfortable with it, I wanted to ask you on a...date." Y/N  said breathing out. Solido was astonished, he didn't think Y/N would ever ask him something like that.

Y/N started to get more and more nervous for every second that Solido was there standing, staring at him. "Solido..." Y/N barely managed to get out. Honestly, at this point Y/N was expecting Solido to run out that door.

"I would love to." Solido laughed nervously, because he was so shocked. "Really?" Y/N felt himself overwhelmed by the happiness of Solido just saying yes.

"Of course, but can we go somewhere not full of people. I know I sound cheesy but it's my first date so I'd rather not embarrass myself." Solido chuckled nervously, again. "Of course, I'll text you the smaller details." Y/N said feeling relieved.

They headed downstairs a little slower than usual. "Good morning Y/N." Estella said. "Good morning." Y/N said, still a little groggy.

"Oh Solido, have you eaten breakfast?" Estella asked. "I ate earlier." Solido responded. "But you can eat, right?" Estella asked again. "Well, yes but-" Solido tried to refuse again. "Good, let's go eat something." Estella interrupted Solido grabbing her purse opening the door, ushering them out.

"You didn't even let me change." Y/N slouched shoving his hands in his pockets. "Its okay Y/N, you look fine." Solido said placing his hands on Y/N's lower back. Y/N shivered, he knew he was touch starved but Solido touching him in a more, intimate spot, it was almost exhilarating.

When Solido took off his hand, his lower back was burning. "Thanks, you too." Y/N said under his breath. "So where are we going?" Solido asked Estella. "A new cafe, it opened a couple days ago and I've heard good things. But I wanna go see it for myself." Estella said with her usual bright smile.

They kept walking to the cafe. They opened the door to a full place. They decided to order to go. It was faster, but Estella said she did like how it was decorated. They went to a park near by and ate their late breakfast.

They went back to Y/N's house and Estella said she had an errand to run. So it was just Y/N and Solido in his room on the bed like it had been before. They were catching up until Y/N changed the topic. "So, Solido. Where would you like to go? Like on the date is there anything you want to do?" Y/N asked.

"Thinking about it no. Just no where too public or like packed with people. Unless some other plans come to mind." Solido said putting a finger to his chin...
