THIRTY-TWO

Dom, Reyna, Brian, Mia and Vince are cuffed before they are loaded into the back of Hobbs' vehicle to be transported to the airport. Reyna focused her attention out the window as her breathing finally slowed down as the adrenaline left her body, Brian kept his gaze on Reyna having never seen her snap like that before. Dom, Vince and Mia shared a glance at the distant look on Reyna's face knowing that the last time she snapped like that was after her mother and brother were killed in an accident. Even Hobbs was left speechless by her sudden act of violence towards him, he focused his attention on the phone, "Have the Marshals meet us at the airport when we land." 

Hobbs gets off the phone before looking in front of him to see a man on the roof of a building. "Ambush!" The man on the building fired a bazooka before taking out the car in front of them. Hobbs grabs his walkie as they are forced to a stop, "Wilkes, suppression fire. Shut them down." Reyna locked gaze with Dom as Hobbs and his men attempted to take down Reyes' men with no success. Vince yells for Elena to let them out, she looks at Dom who keeps a blank expression allowing her to make the decision herself. Hobbs starts making his way around the car as he takes out Reyes' men. The man on the roof then fires the bazooka hitting the second car which sends Hobbs flying back.

Hunt goes to make his way over to Hobbs but is gunned down. Hobbs looks over at Fusco who is trying to get out of the first car before two grenades are dropped by Fusco before they blow him up. Hobbs looks around at the rest of his dead team before several of Reyes' men start running towards him. Hobbs struggles to move before Reyes' men start getting gunned down causing Hobbs to turn to see Reyna, Dom, Brian and Vince taking out Reyes' men. Dom walked over to Hobbs and held his hand out to him, "This is no place to die." Hobbs takes Dom's hand allowing him to pull him up from the ground.

Dom gets Hobbs into the car while Reyna, Brian and Vince cover from them shooting down the continuous men. They all get into the car as Elena and Mia crawl into the front seats before speeding off out of the area, Mia looks back at Dom and Brian as Reyna's eyes landed on Vince causing her eyes to water. "Hey Dom, Rey..." Vince says getting their attention holding his hand to his gunshot wound, "You've both got to meet my son, Nico." Reyna looks at Dom as tears began to fall from her eyes, a lump in her throat. "We will," Dom promises as Reyna leaned her head against Vince's.

"He's a good kid. You know we named him after you two. 'Dominic Rai'," Vince explains causing Reyna to smile. "You got our word, Vince," Reyna says before Vince took his last breath causing her to let out a sob. Surprising everyone, Hobbs pulled Reyna into a hug letting her cry into his shoulder as Dom looked at Mia who had tear-stained cheeks. They were all silent as Reyna's sobs echoed through the car, a heavy feeling on all of their hearts from the mass loss they were suffering from.

Reyna and Dom stood next to the table where Vince's body rests while Mia and Brian informed everyone of what had happened, Tej's sad gaze on Reyna. "You were always my brother," Dom says as they look down at Vince. Dom and Reyna touch their forehead and chest in a cross-motion. "I got eyes on Nico now," Reyna says as she places a kiss on Vince's forehead before Dom covers him with the blanket. Dom stepped away from Reyna as she took in a few deep breaths before turning around, "We need to move. We don't have that much time." Dom nods in agreement as she approached the group.

"I got us a flight out. We can leave Rio in the rearview in the next five hours," Han says as he walks over. Reyna turned to him on the stairs, "Not to run." Everyone went quiet as Dom agreed, "To finish the job." Gisele looked between them realising they were being completely serious, "Are you crazy? Dom? Reyna? We can't." Reyna turned away from everyone as she looked down at their original blueprints of the plan. "It's a suicide mission," Rome adds as he focused his attention on Reyna, "That's your man over there on the table."
