Abuja, Nigeria.

The wedding nikkah was finally announced, and from Miss, Maheera became Mrs. She was now part of the Raazi family.

"Alhamdulilah! We're officially in-laws with Amaar Jay!" Banina squealed, twirling Jalilah around the room.

"Ninah, don't go too far with this guy. Honestly, you deserve a better man," Jalilah stated with a bored tone.

"I don't get you, Jay. Why do you think I deserve a better man than Amaar?"

"Because that Amaar is a pervert! The moment he realizes you have feelings for him, wallahi, he will take advantage of you..." Jalilah then recounted what had happened between them at the gala, and how he had stared at her with pure lust during the wedding dinner.

"And how do you expect me to believe this story of yours, Jay?" Banina yelled.

"Oh really? I'm making things up now? Please tell me, why would I lie to you about this? What reason would I have? I knew you wouldn't believe me because his 'love' has clouded your vision."

"I've noticed you don't like him, which is why you don't want us together, Jay!"

"Yes, I don't like him because he's a pervert! You deserve a better man, Ninah," Jalilah's voice softened at the end.

"Please stop it, Jay! Amaar is anything but what you're saying! I refuse to believe this. Just focus on your own marriage and let me handle my relationship. I promise you, I will prove you wrong about Amaar."

"Fine, Banina. I will focus on my marriage—it's the most important thing to me now! I'm done telling you the truth. I only pray you don't regret your actions, dear sister." Jalilah turned and left, leaving Banina deep in thought.

Later, Jalilah was tasked with notifying Jalal about the family photo. She knocked on his door, which he opened almost immediately, clearly expecting her. Her breath caught as she looked at him in his white kaftan; he looked effortlessly handsome.

"It's halal, wifey. Keep staring," he teased with a mischievous smirk. She immediately flushed a bright crimson.

"Stop it, Ya Jalal," she whined.

He chuckled, leading her to the couch. "I love how you look today. Just like the perfect wifey you are," he complimented, and she blushed.

"Thanks, Ya Jalal." She wore a fitted Ankara gown that complemented her perfectly, with a neatly tied headtie and a medium-sized veil draping her shoulders.

"Mummy asked me to let you know about the family picture," she said. He nodded, donning his babban riga and cap.

"Can we take a quick picture? Please?" she pouted, and he sighed in feigned reluctance.

"Yay! Thanks, hubby!" She giggled, snapping a few pictures with her phone before they headed out.

That evening, Maheera moved to her matrimonial home in Wuse 2 as relatives began to disperse.

The long-awaited graduation day arrived, and the girls couldn't have been happier. They woke up early, took their baths, and dressed in matching outfits: a black high-waisted skirt that fell just above the knee and a white long-sleeved shirt. A small black veil formed a mini hijab, completing the look with a pair of heels.

Their graduation gowns had been given to them the previous day, so they donned them and took a few photos together before exiting the room with bright smiles.
