(if you know what movie this is based off of ily)

He always joked about being a psychopath but never would I have thought it was true...

——————————

"I'm never getting into college. Not that I want to, anyway." My new friend that I met in high school a few months ago, Jacob, said laughing.

"You don't wanna go to college? Why?" I asked. "You have amazing grades, Jacob. Of course you could."

He turned to look at me, with a cigarette in his hand, rolling his eyes. "If I'm so smart, why would I need to go to college?"

I shrugged, leaning on the brick wall behind me. We were hanging out on a random roof of a abandoned building, dodgy maybe.

"I dunno, to get a good job?" I replied, taking the cigarette from his hand, receiving an annoyed look in response. I started to smoke it.

"If I'm as smart as you and my mom say I'll get a 'good job' no bother." He grumbled, putting his hands in his pockets. "Maybe I'll shoot up the school instead."

I stared at him with a weirded out look, tilting my head. "Do you hate school that much?"

He stared at me back with a emotionless face, that kinda said 'you're stupid'. "No, it was a joke. I wouldn't shoot it. I'd blow it up."

I laughed and watched as he snatched the last cigarette from my hands, grumbling and complaining about 'how it was his last one'.
"Speaking of her, she's been very annoying lately." He said, getting up, standing on a bug on the way.

"Your mom?" I asked, following him as he began exiting the roof.
"Yeah. She's acting like a nosy bitch." He laughed. "All up in my business. You know? She acts like I'm plotting to kill her sometimes. Even if I am it's my business." He said, leaving my sight. I ran down the rest of the stairs, stumbling into his back making me laugh.

"Sometimes I can't tell when your joking." I said, making him give me a serious look.
"Always serious." I rolled my eyes at him and continued walking.

After we hang out I usually walk with him to my house but he had to go early today so I'm walking with him to his instead.

"You can stay over if you want. For a bit. I just gotta do some work." He shrugged. "If you wanna still see this hot face of course." He smirked. Tilting his head down to look at me, giving me a teasing look.

For some reason, he liked pulling his phone out and recording random moments. Which is exactly what he done now.
"Are you coming over to see this handsome face or not, Y/N?"

"Yes, yes I am." I laughed, pushing the phone out of my face softly.
"Can't get enough of me, can ya." He responded, ruffling my hair making me push him.

He pushed me harder nearly making me fall onto the road. "Jacob you're gonna fucking kill me one day." I hissed, slapping the back of his head and taking his beanie off of him, wearing it.

"I might." He chuckled, turning his phone off, then he ran his hand through his messy hair. "I don't care if my mom doesn't allow you in, I don't really give a shit what she thinks."

I watched as he walked up to his front door. He stopped to look at me. "Coming or not?" I shrugged, running up to him as he opened the door. He walked through, and grabbed my arm, pulling me in. "Hurry up."

He shut the door, his mom was sitting in the living room, hiding something behind her as she saw us but Jacob didn't notice. Too busy dragging me about.
"H-hey, Jacob honey. Who's this?" She smiled nicely at me, making me smile back.

"My friend, mom." He shortly answered, walking over to his room and slamming the door after going inside. Without waiting for me.

It was obvious it was his room because it had a picture that said 'DO NOT ENTER' on the door but the word 'enter' was scrabbled out with red pen I'm assuming.

"My name is Y/N. It's nice to meet you..."
"Abbey." She smiled, taking my hand in both of hers, shaking it gently.
"Don't tell him I told you this. Jacob might not seem like it, but he is...troubled. Please take care of him."

Without a word, I nodded, walking towards his door. I opened it, watching something fly towards it making me duck, the metal bottle flying across the living room.
"Jacob!" I shouted, shutting the door behind me.

"That was about to hit me, moron." I hissed, running towards his bed and jumping on top of him making him raise an eyebrow. "Kinky. While my mom is home?"

I got off and walked towards his pets cage. It was a reptile, not sure what kind exactly but it was scary yet cute looking. "Shut up, weirdo." He took his hat that I stole from him and put it back on.

"Your room is...cleaner than expected." I said, before turning and noticing a door that was closed off by tape. "What's in there?" I asked, turning the knob.

Before I could open it, I was grabbed by the arms and thrown onto the bed. "Hey!" I hissed, him grabbing my arms when I tried to get up.

"You can never go in that room. Ever." He said, grabbing my chin so that his face was too close for comfort. "Okay? I'm just protecting you, Y/N. Don't break my trust."

I nodded, my face getting red from embarrassment. "Fine. Can you g-get off now?" I asked, wanting to get out of this embarrassing position. He shrugged, looking around boredly. "Go do your work, stupid!" I whined, pushing his face away by lifting my knee and pushing him with it.

He laughed and got up, sitting in his chair, looking at some paper on his desk. "Alright, do whatever then. Go in that room and you'll die though." He said, with a look of seriousness that scared me deeply inside.

I nodded, getting up. "I'm gonna go get a drink. I'm thirsty." I rubbed my neck, walking towards the door.
"Did I make you thirsty?"

I opened the door and walked out, shutting it, hearing his laughter as I walked towards the kitchen.

"Oh, hello, Abbey." I said, remembering her name thankfully. She looked up and smiled nervously, holding cameras in her hands. "Those for your living room or something?" I asked, pointing at them.

She nodded, sweat dripping from her. 'Are they..?' "Yes! They're for the living room. Don't tell Jacob. They're for safety purposes." She whispered. "Please."

"Alright. No big deal. Not my business." I responded, smiling. "Can I have a drink? I'm kinda thirsty."
She nodded, hiding the cameras before standing up to pour the drink.

"What's taking you so long?" I noticed Jacob's lanky frame in the doorway, making me roll my eyes at his impatience.
"Nothing. Go back to your work dummy." I respond, expecting him to go back into his room.

"Thank you!" I smiled at her, taking the drink gratefully. I started walking to his room again, walking in and noticing it was empty.

Suddenly I felt two hands on my waist and a breath on my neck making me shiver.
"Boo."

"You fucking asshole!" I kicked him in the chest, making his back hit the door. He looked at me shocked but laughed. "Wow. You have a nice kick."

I drank from my cup, sitting on his bed, not answering for a bit. Hesitating, I growled. "Not funny."
He walked over to me, taking his work and sitting on the bed, laying his head on my lap.

"Can you do this for me? It's too hard." He smiled at me, weirdly.
I took the work, noticing that it was science work.
"Bullshit! You're amazing at science. You just want me to do it, ya lazy-."

"Please." He huffed, staring at his ceiling. "I'm not a God at science. Just average."
'I know you're not. But whatever.'

I started answering the questions, shrugging. "If you lose this test, don't blame me."

He grinned, turning to his side, wrapping his arms around me and hiding his face in my stomach. "You're a life saver."
