"Ara ara" Kanae started patting Shinobu hair. "Don't cry Shinobu. You know I love your smiles more. And don't worry your nee-san is strong after all." She said as she flexed her right arm.

"Don't joke about this." Shinobu pressed her face hard on Kanae chest and kept hugging her. "If I lost you. Then I would've hunted them down and killed them."

"My, my you are quite scary sometimes. If you keep this up you won't have a boyfriend" Kanae teased Shinobu but Shinobu kept quiet.

After a while, Shinobu spoke again. "Nee-san what happened to the upper moon demon? Did you kill him?" She spoke as she lifted her head not moving from Kanae lap.

"We'll talk about it when we go back home" just then the kakushi had arrived and put her on a stretcher.

I saw that she was already patched up. But who did it? I remember when she left she forgot to pack the aid kit I prepared for her. She's always clumsy like that. But she's wrapped up, poorly I should say but at least she's okay. Someone probably helped her.

When the crow announced that she was fighting an upper moon I.......

"Kocho" I was brought back to reality when someone touched my left shoulder.

"Kocho, are you alright?" It was Tomioka-san why is he here?

"Tomioka-san why are you here?" I was confused. Out of all the people to come I'd never expected him to show up.

"When you disappeared like that I got a little worried. Are you and your sister okay?" He said as he looked at where the kakushis were.

This shocked me, the loner prick of an hashira actually cares about people. "Are you by any chance worried about me Tomioka-san? Are you perhaps trying to make friends? Knowing that no one likes you" I put my hands on my mouth and did a little teasing face.

"Shinobu is that how you treat people who are worried about you?" Nee-san said from afar.

"I guess your sister likes me," he said with his stone-cold expression. This irritated me and a tick can be seen on my head. I was about to reply but I was interrupted.

"Caw, Caw, Hashira meeting in 10 days time Caw, Caw."

"Caw, Caw, Kocho Kanae is to report during the Hashira meeting, Caw, Caw

'Hashira meeting huh?' I thought to myself. It's a bit sudden since a hashira meeting will take place once every month and we had our monthly meeting 2 weeks ago. Something must've happened.

He kept quiet, this irritated me so I kept going poking his arms for like a hundred times.

The annoying little insect kept going at it. I don't even know why I came, when I saw her hurry out with a worried look on her face I couldn't help but run after her.

Ever since she became a hashira a year after her sister she's been going on missions with me more frequently than the others have so she grew on me. It was annoying at first but I'm glad she's around even though I don't say it, having her really lightens up my dark world ever since sabito and Nee-san died she's been there.
