As we sat at the table, Atsumu still seems flustered.  He couldn't even look at me right now without his cheeks getting pink.

I look at him dead in the eye " Atsumu stop being such a baby! "

He crinkled his nose " I'm not being a bAbY! "

SHEEZ he acts worse than a 5-year-old.

" Well I'm going to start asking you questions, like it or not "

He let out a sigh " Fine start it! ".

I look through my questions, the first one asks " How did you start playing volleyball ".

" Ok, then Atsumu first question it is! " How did you start playing volleyball. "  his face had a gentle smile on his face.

" Well, it started back then. " as he spoke I can feel the genuine enjoyment. Hate to say it but he really did have a great passion and talent for volleyball.

Without even noticing I've also started to smile.
" Aye?! What's with your smile?! " Atsumu smirks at me with his mischievous look.

" Don't get your head twisted I'm simply enjoying the excitement you have towards volleyball! " I rolled my eyes at him. " I just think it's funny how you enjoyed my story. " Atsumu spirits slightly went down.

" Why so down all of sudden? " I raised my brow at him.

" Well, usually people get annoyed with me when I talk about volleyball. It's always been like that in my whole life. Until I went to high school, I met real friends, I could be myself with them. It was... Truly amazing I found people like that. " his eyes filled with pure happiness.

Seeing him express his feelings like this makes me surprise. I feel happy for him. I let out a chuckle.

" WHAT WAS THAT FOR?! THIS IS why I don't OVER- "

" CALM DOWN ATSUMU! I only laughed because I have never seen you so happy! You should be happier often. " I gave him a grin.

With his hand, he flicked my nose.

" Ow! "

Atsumu Pov:

It was the way she said I looked happy. The way she listens to my story, without a judgmental look.

" AH SO are we DONE FOR TODAY? "  I looked at her, as she checked the time on her laptop.

" I didn't think one question was going to take long, so I guess we are done for the day. "

She got up from the seat, as she packs her things. I also got up. All of a sudden I hear someone calling my name.

" Atsumu? OH my Gosh, it is you! "
Why, out of all THE PLACES?! SHE HERE?!

I turned around to only see Val, with a grin on her face.

" Oh hey Val! " lift my hand.

Val looks over at y/n.

" Oh are you guys here on a DATE?! " she asks sarcastically.

Y/n looks at her with wide eyes. Then she opens her mouth " We ARE N-

At this point, I had a choice to say, no or yes. If I say no Val might think I'm still hooked on her and she won't want me... But if I say yes I can certainly make her jealous.

" YES- UM- WE ARE ON DATE! " shout a little too excitedly.

Val looks at me with a surprised look

" SO I WAS RIGHT, I guess I have to get going. " she turns her back, as I turned my back I see a shock

" Hey speak to me why are you so wide eye! "

Y/n pov:

I'm utterly shocked... I somewhat wasn't mad at him. I feel confused at this very moment.

" So is this what you call a date? " I raise my brow

" No- I mean- "

I wanted to keep my laugh in, so I try acting cold.
" Lame. "

Atsumu now is looking at me wide-eyed, broke my serious act and started laughing at him. " IM kidding Atsumu! BUT REALLY WHY DID YOU TELL HER WE WERE ON A DATE! " I looked at him confused.

Atsumu Pov:

Should I tell her my true intentions... No, but that would only hurt her.

" Well, I told her that because... I- I do want to take you out on a date.. "

Shit, why didn't I just tell her the truth?
