(CH3) Enchanted

The plane took off. Scarlett couldn’t believe who she was sitting next to.
“Wow sorry, I’m still kind of in shock. That I’m sitting next you.” Aaron said as he was smiling.
Wait Aaron Tveit just said he was shocked sitting next to Scarlett. Shouldn’t that be the other way around?
“Really? Cause I’m shocked I’m sitting next to you too.”
“Really? I mean not to sound like one of those fans. I’m pretty big fan of yours.”
“Me too! I love Graceland and watched it so many times cause you are in it.” Scarlett burst out saying without thinking.
Aaron was just looking at Scarlett as he was still smiling.
“Oh no that totally made me sound like a creepy fan.”
“No not at all. I watched your one comedy movie a lot because you were in it. So I know how you feel.”
Scarlett and Aaron started laughing.
“So this is pretty awesome.” Scarlett said as she was oddly relaxed sitting next to Aaron.
“Yeah it is acutely.” Aaron couldn’t stop smiling.
“So why are you going to L.A for?”
“Filming Graceland.”
“Awesome! I’m dying to see what happens this season.”
“So you really do watch the show?”
“Duh” Scarlett and Aaron laughed.
“What are you going to L.A for?” Aaron asked.
Scarlett took a few seconds to answer. As she was completely relaxed sitting on the plane.
Aaron watched her move her long blonde hair from covering her face. As she slowly looked him in the eyes. Her hazel green eyes. That looked almost like cat eyes. Staring into his eyes
“To get away from New York. Just need a break from a few things.”
“Well that can’t be a bad thing. Sometimes people just need to get away.”
“Yeah, I’ll probably do a few additions and interviews about my new album.”
“There you go. See your already have things to do. To keep your mind off New York.”
Scarlett smiled at the words Aaron said. It was like he was inside her head. Without knowing it of course.
Scarlett and Aaron still had another five hours until landing at LAX. The whole flight they kept on talking. They had a instant connection.

Back in New York City:

"Ughhhhh" James yelled as he threw a ring box to the ground. James threw a few other things to the ground too. He was angry.
“What the heck man. You trying to break everything?” Seth walked into James room.
“Seth you should leave.” James yelled.
“Leave? You crazy. You’re about to trash the place.”
“I’m an idiot.”
“Yeah more like crazy right now.”
“What the heck is wrong with me?”
“Okay I take it this is about Scarlett?” Seth was holding the ring box. With a beautiful engagement ring in it.
James took a deep breath as he sat down on the edge of the bed. “Yeah.”
“You sure have a funny way of showing things.”
“Yeah and I’m real good at pushing people away.”
“As your best friend, it’s my job to not tell you what you want to hear. So as your best friend. James what the heck man? Scarlett is an amazing women. You two were so right for each other. Why would you stand her up? Now she may not come back. Can you blame her? This, this ring? Really man?”
“I know, it’s like s joke now isn’t it?”
“No, it’s just going to be real hard to get things right again.”
“I know….” James never felt so lost in his life. Not for a very long time.

In L.A:

The plane finally landed in L.A. Scarlett and Aaron were the last two to get off the plane.
“Maybe we’ll see each other again. Here in L.A?” Scarlett said as she picked up her bag.
“Yeah, if you don’t mind I can give you my number.”
Scarlett smiled and exchanged phone numbers with Aaron.
Maybe being back in L.A wouldn’t be a bad thing for Scarlett. With that being said will she move on from James?
