It's weird
he feels so safe here
yet so weak and vulnerable
it's not safety in numbers because it's just him now.
Nor is it a lone wolf type of thing.
He doesn't feel lonely.
Not here at least.

He looks so empty.
Like a lifeless shell of what once was his best friend.
His determination grows even stronger.
And Rekis skateboard even faster.
This isn't his Reki he repeats in his head again and again
he's thought it a million times, probably said it even more times.
Anything to keep hope in him.
He's his best friend.
There's no way he would ever say those things.
It's just like cherry said, he's still in there.
Somewhere.
Reki goes around a sharp curve and reaches out of Langas field of vision.
He speeds up.
And the rest of the world vanishes with it.

Okay so I goobered up. The last update (this one) didn't publish on time and I didn't realize it until right now.
