7:00 p.m.

I was currently reviewing for my mid-term examination. The struggle was real like everyone else is saying when they are cramming for an examination. My mind can't keep up with the information overload from the books that I am reading.

I forgot to tell you, I am a first-year law student. Constitutional Law I, Persons and Family Relations, Criminal Law I, Statutory Construction, Legal Profession and Counselling, Legal Research, and Philosophy were my subjects for this semester.

My mind was pretty exhausted; only my mind, my facade was still glowing and ravishing. Not kidding, just stating the fact despite my hair was disheveled, and my droopy eye bags which I found annoying.

I am wondering what my best friend was up to now. Driven by my curiosity, I grabbed my phone that was emplaced on the right side of my table and made a call after.

"ELISHAAAA, WHAT IS UP NOW!!!" She screamed with a high-pitched, shrilling voice.

I unintentionally pushed my chair two centimeters aback, unbelievable! I also immediately moved the chair back from its position.

I swiftly manipulated my phone from my left ear. I placed it on my table and toggled the loudspeaker option instead. I was so startled by her voice. How could be she so noisy even just calling her on line?

"OH MY GOSH!" I SCREAMED DUE TO HER HIGH-PITCHED, SHRILLING, GRATING VOICE. "Don't be so noisy, girl! I don't want to lose my hearing at this age." I scoffed.

I think my senses already knew what she would be saying next. I could feel it on my very skin as her words are like wind which triggers the arrector pili muscles in my arms, causing my hair on them to rise upwards.

"Apologies, but I cannot contain my fluttering heart right now. AAACCCKKKK!!!" SHE SCREAMED - again.

I am thankful enough that I toggled the loudspeaker option; my left ear could be raped and tortured continuously because of her high-pitched screams.
