Chapter 5

At last I didn't have a nightmare, instead, I had a dream about Justin. The stuff he said didn't make sense at first, but then, it made more sense. He said, "You're brave and smart Lexi, you'll know where and I trust you'll come look for me."

Then he disappeared, into thin air. When I woke up I didn't realize what was happening. That was until I felt something, something touching my thigh. I began to notice my surroundings and began to think clearly. I reached for the object, but it wasn't there anymore. I jumped out of bed and searched until  I found out that Justin left a piece of note for me, it said,

Lexi,

I have to go. I can't tell you where. I hope you understand. You know I love you, but I have to go. I know you can find me, you're smart enough to. I know this sounds very cheesy but, if we're destined to be, you'll find me someday. The truth is, the reason I'm leaving is because your dad hates me, and I don't want to make him mad. Don't try calling or E-mailing, I left my phone, and laptop on the table next to my bed. I left without anything but food, water, clothing, shoes, money, and the thought of you. I love you very much, but I have to go.

                                                                                                                               -Justin

He left me. Justin left. I could feel my throat tightening, something in my body stir. I could feel the tears forming in my eyes, and eventually, then tears travel down my face. I could feel my face getting hotter and hotter. I can also feel myself getting weaker and weaker.

"Lexi, are you awake, can I come in?" a voice asked behind the door. I decided not to say anything, because I don't want to, and I'm too weak to. "Lexi?" the voice asked again. "Lexi!" the voice gets more impatient by the minute. Finally, my dad bursts through the door. " Lexi! You sure are hard to wake u-" he stops talking when he realizes I wasn't listening. He looks over to Justin's bed and understands everything. "Baby, it's fine, he's just a stupid boywho doesn't understand a single thing about you."

I finally look up, but not for long because as soon as I looked up, I could feel my head spinning, and my head falls back down again. Dizzier, and dizzier, te world spins faster and faster, until everything is a blur, and I can't see a thing. Soon enough, I can't even see a blur, all I see is darkness. Pitch black.
