Chapter 6

Jones group. It's a 20 story building. In my previous life, I have never had an opportunity to come and visit. In my past, everyone praised Tina for her new ideas to develop a project with huge profits. Grandpa tested her with a project, she had profitably done that. So, grandpa trusted his company in her hands. She never gave me an option to take over the company.

I know Tina had a ghost advisor/planner, her assistant. She saved him from a situation, so he was loyal to her. He designed all the projects for her in the past. Now, I will change it.

It's a fresh start, I will learn things even if it's hard. I will put my everything into it. I will be courageous to fight for my rightful place. Even though I'm adopted, I can not own the Jones group. But no one can stop me from doing that.

Everyone greeted grandpa with respect, their eyes had an inspired emotion. I admired him even more, even at this age he inspired many to work hard.

Grandpa took me to his office, it's on the 20th floor. A middle-aged man was standing near the lift to welcome him.  "Steve" grandpa said once the lift doors opened. "Sir, I have arranged the things you have asked for" he replied. " Good. Good." He said and turned to me he continued "You can call him uncle Steve, he is my most trusted assistant. He will help you in my absence". I nodded.

Once in his office, he said " Steve, bring some company documents for her to see" "Yes Sir" He replied. Later he bought me some files, it was companies history, Grandpa started it very small. But now it's an organisation that has the trust of many. Our company is not small but it's not big too. Other groups are very big than us. I will make the Jones group more powerful and dominant.

Jones group is involved in the construction industry in City B. I will open its operations in various cities and the capital city. Once it's a strong force in country A, I will make it International.

While I am going through the files, I suddenly saw a picture running in front of me "Grandpa's friend is making him sign a document for land in Mountain. After buying it, there are serious unfortunate events that happen one after the other making the Jones group lose more money."

What was that just now? A Vision? A Premonition? I never had seen anything like that before.

"Evelyn? Evelyn, what happened to you? I have been calling you for a while, why do you look scared?" Grandpa asked with a worried face.
" Nothing grandpa, I was just thinking what all struggle you should have undergone to make our company successful," I replied hiding the truth, having no idea what just happened.

"Haha. It is the fruit of my hard work" grandpa replied and continued " Now, can we go and have some lunch?" "Yes, Grandpa" I replied.

He took me and uncle Steve to a restaurant and ordered some of my favourites while we were in the middle of eating our lunch, Steve's mobile started ringing he answered it and then turned to grandpa and said " Sir, Mr Johnson called, he is competing in the auction for Snowspider peak. He wants to know if you are interested in buying that piece of land".
