"Simone please don't play with me right now. I'm not for the attitude."

I kissed my teeth.

"Your behavior is getting out of control. You're tainting the family's image." She continues to scold.

Here we go again.

I've been in my mom's office for the past ten minutes hearing her lecture me about the family's image once again this week.

"How is my behavior effecting our image? You're acting as if I'm out here in the blogs for doing crazy, out of line things." I frowned my face up.

"Well you basically are Simone. You're out partying every other night. It's not a good look for someone who's going to be a doctor."

I stifled a laugh.

"I'm not being a doctor."

Our family is a medical family thick and through. All three of my siblings are doctors. Aubrey the oldest is specializing in neurology. Jaliyah the second oldest is specializing in general surgery and Brandon is specializing in cardio.

On top of that they owned the Campbell foundation. Owning multiple hospitals and having almost 500 million dollars in charitable funds for the advancement of medicine.

Of course, I had to be the only one who's passion isn't to be a doctor.

"What are you gonna do then? Huh? 'Cause you're not gonna be sitting on your ass twiddling your thumbs around here while everyone else works." She shakes her head while reading a paper she took out of a folder.

"What was the reason in going to med school and then doing your first year of residency, anyway? Just wasting my damn money."

"Because I realized it was something I felt like I was being forced to do. Which by the way you did force me to do." I rolled my eyes.

"No one forced you to do anything Simone." She scoffed.

I let out an annoyed sigh. She knows damn well she forced me into doing med school.

I make sure I have all my stuff in my hands before getting up and leaving out of her office.

now she just ruined my whole mood.

When I got downstairs I went into the kitchen so I could get a water before I leave out. I was surprised to see my dad in the kitchen, drinking coffee while scrolling through his phone.

Usually he would be at the hospital most likely doing a consult or prepping for a surgery right now.

"Hey sweetie." He kissed my forehead when I walked by.
