Maybe it's time for us to pause, breath and think. Think about what we are doing to our environment. This poem is mother nature's plea for help.
Chaos on the roads which I knew so well,
The sky above was starting to swell.
Conspicuous changes gripped mother earth with fear,
A storm was brewing up in the heaven, oh dear!
As skies went berserk,
And it poured like never before.
Days went by but Zeus didn't restrain himself,
It was lesson being taught for losing the humane Midas touch.
Power shutdown across the globe,
maybe the Mayans were right.
With so much affliction all around,
It indeed is time for us to spare a thought.
To think about whatever happened to those huge yards?
Why did the caterpillar not want to fly?
Maybe it's nature's call for help,
before she suffocates and dies.
As I walked down the stormy alley,
I couldn't help but wonder.
"We're ignorant. But the question I ponder over,
is how and when did this happen?"
Please vote if it made you think. Thanks.
