Upon entering the small hole-in-the-wall diner I could smell the sweet aroma of apple pie "Tetsu-" I started "I know, go sit somewhere" Tetsu waved me towards the seating area "what was that?" Bo asked "I always ask for apple pie when I come and he just knows to get it now" I shrugged "is that your favorite dessert?" I smiled "yes but it's also just my favorite food" he hugged me from behind and kissed my cheek "you're so cute, why are you the cutest boyfriend ever?" I blushed a bright red and that's when Daichi and Tetsu walked over "oh gross get outta here with that lovey dovey shit" I heard Tetsuro gag "now, now Kū let them be, they're cute" I turned my head "Dad!" I yelled hugging him "don't question it" Tetsu said before Bo could say anything "didn't I tell you to stop calling me that? I'm only one year older than you" Daichi laughed as I let go ready to sit down "I'll be right back guys" he walked into the kitchen and returned just as quickly "Ken I already know what you and Kū want but Bokuto what would you like to order?" Daichi asked, pen and paper in hand "uh I'd like chocolate cake with a vinalla milkshake" he had sparkles in his eyes "so is this like a date for y'all cause I can go sit over there" Tetsu said pointing behind him "no don't I'm sure Dai hasn't gotten to take a break yet so he can take it with us so you don't have to sit alone" Bo said scooting me closer to him in the booth "Fukurō is nicer than I am, I would've sent you packing my dude" I laughed. Soon Daichi came back with our food "I have a thirty minute break so I can sit for a while" he kissed Tetsu's head and I made a gagging sound "really? Right in front of my pie?" I joked. The next thirty minutes were spent laughing and joking and catching up "you really told Suga that?" Daichi said laughing again "sure did, you should come with us next time and actually skate" Daichi waved his hands in front of himself "no, no skating isn't for me anymore. I'm just trying to get through school so I can become a cop. I don't wanna get but before I do and you should think of quitting too, you are an international idol now. Your fans don't want to see you hurt or your face marred" he teased a bit "I'm thinking of retirement, singing just doesn't make me happy anymore. It's become more of a hassle to get so many songs out on a set schedule, it's not fun anymore" I finished my pie and laid my head down "it sounds just like you're a robot made to sing songs and play music. Did you ever have fun?" Bo said running his hand through my hair "he had so much fun, you should've seen him in school talent shows and at the skate park. He sang everywhere he went although he got into a lot of trouble by bringing his ukulele and playing it during every class" Daichi and Tetsu laughed "oh god I remember that, he'd also ride down the hallways on his board and play the uke while singing. Almost all the teachers would chase him, It's a wonder you never got expelled or even just suspended" Daichi chuckled "I never got suspended because my mother had the school in her grip. Did you never notice that every teacher left me alone to do whatever I wanted after scolding me once?" I propped my head up with my arm "now that you mention it I do remember that" Tetsu said "man I thought they just didn't care anymore" Daichi continued "Sawaramura break times over back to work now, chop chop" a gruff voice said "whelp that's my cue, see y'all later" he waved goodbye and kissed Tetsu's head "aww how sweet, your mother kissed you bye" I teased "shaddup let's just get outta here" he retorted "aye aye captain" "yes sir!" Bo and I joked.
