The Thorn was often stereotyped as being dark, dangerous and somewhat harmful.
But that was not the Thorn, that was not the Thorn at all.
So it was thought that how could the Rose be destined to the Thorn,
So how could Something delicate and beautiful come together with something seen as dangerous.
But that is where the worlds perspective was wrong,
The Thorn wasn't harmful, it was protective,
It wasn't dangerous, only to those that tried to hurt the Rose,
And most of all it wasn't associated with darkness, because the Thorn is what illumined the Rose's life everyday.
