"How about we play a game?" A familiar looking blonde haired male approaches you with a proud smile plastered on his face. He looks at the female next to you and his gaze immediately softens upon her sight, "If my lady would mind of course."
Kamisato Ayaka, the well known princess of one of the biggest clans in Inazuma is your best friend. You met her within the last few days of the summer festival in Amakane Island as you were helping your uncle paint different decorations on fox masks. The female was intrigued with how elegant your craftsmanship on the masks were and she asked if you could teach her how to do her own.
You were surprised that you managed to befriend Ayaka in such a short span of time. She felt inclined to tell you her personal story, despite being admired by a lot of people.. she couldn't help but feel lonely from time to time. Luckily, you managed to stay by her side as her friend.
"I don't mind Thoma," Ayaka folds her gold-navy colored fan and taps it against her palm, earning a hollow sound echoing through the Komore Teahouse. "I do wonder what surprises you'd give me and my friend. Although.. the last surprise wasn't much.. of a pleasant surprise at all."
Thoma is Ayaka's loyal servant, he's like her butler of some sort. Although he acts formal whenever his mistress is around, he does joke a lot especially when you're around. It has become 'Ayaka's worst nightmare' if she sees you both laughing together, though deep inside.. the princess is having fun whenever her only friends are having fun as well.
The last surprise that Ayaka was talking about is when you and Thoma handcrafted a couple of sticky rice cake balls (mochi) that look exactly like Taroumaru without her knowing. You both called her out to the teahouse to have a hotpot party all together and Thoma kept Taroumaru away from his usual post, in exchange, he left a plate of Shiba Inu mochi. Ayaka was both surprised and horrified once she found out that the loveable dog was turned into a sweet dessert.
"Taroumaru had a lot of fun though," you pout and cup the dog's cheeks. "Aah, what game will we play?"
"The usual hotpot game!" Thoma placed his hands to the either side of his hips and stood proud. It was the only game he's rather good at, that's why he liked playing it whenever you three came to visit the teahouse. "I know I'm always winning, so I'll take it easy on you"
"I'll win this time!" Due to your competitive nature, you challenged the male which surprised both him and Ayaka. "Let's raise the stakes by ordering the spicy broth"
"You're on!"
Ayaka wanted to interfere between the two of you as she can't handle the spice very well, but seeing you two pumped up.. she can't help but feel helpless. A sheepish smile appears on her features upon seeing that you two have made up your mind. She quickly reserved a room for the three of you for the spicy hotpot games.
You sat in front of Thoma while he sat right next to Ayaka. A glare was plastered on both of your faces as soon as the waitress poured the spicy broth into the simmering pot by the table. Everyone turns around when one of you places the ingredients you brought for the event and each should guess what ingredient is in the hotpot correctly to get a point.
