Chapter 12 Part 1
Ashton's POV:
Time's up, he's not awake! It's been two weeks since Liz talked to Luke's doctor about pulling the plug on Luke. She tried explaining that I need to move on with my life, but how can I when my life is lying in a hospital bed. I waited so long to get Luke, I would've waited forever for Luke, and now I'm going to lose him.
Three months went by so fast and I know what they're planning. I've heard them talk about waiting until I have to leave for something and doing it so it won't hurt me as much. Basically I can't leave for extended periods of time because if I do they'll take away my Lukey.
I wake up aware that I need to use the loo. I quickly scamper to the bathroom, entering a stall instantly. I finish as fast as I can, painfully aware of how long I'm taking, and wash my hands. I fast-walk out of the bathroom to see Luke's doctor, Liz and a couple of nurses surrounding the bed that holds the love of my life.
Now? Why now? They can't take my Lukey! I thought as I ran over to the room.
"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!?!?!?" I screamed stopping them all in their tracks. Liz looks over at me, something like annoyance in her eyes as she glares me down. She is his mother, shouldn't she of all people want to keep up hope or am I the only one? "Are you pulling the plug?"
