The Stranger With The Flower - Marry Red

I get woken up by my door getting slammed open. It was my right hand man I must've fallen asleep after logging all the ships supplies.

"Captain Red! There's a ship approaching I Think there friendly but you should come anyway."

"I'll be right there."

He runs out to prepare and I stand up and walk over to my coat. As I put it on I can hear the crew of the other ship approaching. I put on my hat and walk out onto the deck. The ship is already beside us. I walk out with one hand on my sword. I watch the ship gathering every detail I possibly can. All the crew on the ship are girls it was strange to see at first.

"Hello! I'd like to propose a trade!"

A man had walked by the girls and stood in front. He was taller then most the girls he wore a black coat and a big hat. The hat had a Black Rose on it the rest of the crew had Red Roses on there body somewhere.

"Sure what do you propose?"

"Well let's discuss this in your quarters over a drink!"

"Fine"

He smiled and it was a surprisingly comforting smile. As he grabbed a rope and swung over to my ship. The crew was all ready to attack on my order as he slowly walked into my quarters. I slowly followed keeping my eyes locked onto him.

"So I'd like half."

"Excuse me?"

"I said I want half of your supplies."

"That's not enough to support the entire ship. I can't do that trade."

"Listen I have a lot of hungry girls on my ship and I gotta feed em all. Otherwise they might just eat me."

"That's not my problem."

"It is now."

"I think you should leave."

"I think you should join my crew."

"Why in hell would I do that you just mentioned your crew was starving."

"Well yea but a new face is always appreciated!"

"Not a chance your nothing but a stepping stone on my path to riches."

The man drew his sword. It was black and had a black rose wrapped around the handle. He put it to my neck and slowly but softly spoke.

"No you're my stepping stone now I'll give you a choice spare your ship. Then you join my crew and I only take half the supplies Or I kill your crew. Take all your supplies and you join against your will."

"Why the hell are you so intent on me joining you?"

"Mm that's for me to know and you to figure out. Now what's your choice."

"Well the obvious choice spare my ship and half the supplies but I got one condition."

"Hmm Fine what's your condition?"

"My brother joins me on your ship."

"I don't normally allow men on my ship."

"Well if you want me to join you peacefully that's the condition."

"Hmm fine He can join us as well."

"Then we have a deal?"

"Indeed we do."

He walks to the door and holds it open for me. As his crew is carrying boxes across planks onto his ship already. He steps up onto the plank and steps across onto his ship. I walk towards my brother and smile at him.

"We are going to go with the women and the strange man okay bud?"

"But our stuff is here."

"They will grab it for us."

"Why don't you come with me lad."

A girl had approached I didn't even notice. She wore a big hat too but with a blue rose on it. She was tall buff and pretty.

"My names Abigail ima show you too your new room."

"Alright Abigail."

I sigh in relief and look around at my crew they almost look glad I'm leaving. I look away in shame as I walk onto the plank between ships. I look down and see Le Rosa Velenosa on the side of the ship. I step onto the ship and the captain greets me.

"I'm captain Rose my right hand lady is Abigail May. Welcome to Le Rosa Velenosa a place where girls who struck misfortune. Receive safe haven.

"Guess I fit right in..."

"What was that?"

"Nothing"

"Hmm alright anyway this is how it works the crew mates are all called Rose's. They are red and have a red rose. Somewhere on there person. Abigail the right hand lady has a Blue Rose. She manages the Red Roses you ever need something you ask her. I'm the captain the only Black Rose. I chart the map and decide what we are doing and where we go."

"Yes Captain I understand.."

"Now about your brother he-"

"Janté his name is janté."

"Well since he's a guy he'll be staying in the captain's quarters with me. If I were to let him bunk with the girl's. I'm afraid temptation would get the better of him."

"I understand that."

"So I'll be bunking with the girls?"

"No the first night a new crew mate joins us they can choose to sleep in the captains quarters or the bunks."

"I-I want to sleep with my brother tonight."

"Alright then you can go to the captain quarters now I have to prepare to set sail. Your stuff is already in crates next to the bed."

"Okay captain."

I walked up the stairs with my brother in front of me I pointed at the door.

"I think that's the captain quarters."

He walked into the door opening it there was a desk a bed and a window and a few cupboards.
That was pretty much it my tired brother just got straight. Into the bed and fell asleep I took my coat off and my hat. And got in with him hugging him tightly as i thought to myself. How did this all happen so fast? Just this morning I was eating breakfast peacefully with Janté. And now I'm on a whole new ship with new rules. I became a captain for riches and adventure.

"Guess my adventure just began."
