Chapter 7: How much has changed?

We arrive in Tiffany's room and form a campfire (Tony from NCIS would be so proud). Tiffany speaks first:

"Okay....... So......"
"Where the hell have you been you prick!?"
"Aura!"
"What the hell?!"
"I was captured"
"By who? The fashion police?"
"Aura! Why are you being mean to him?"
"Because he broke your heart"
"He didn't do it on purpose.... And who cares, he's back now and that's all that matters. Now, you were saying Tony"
"Thank you Ettie. As I was saying, I was captured by Javier. When the gorilla threw me off the cliff, there was a group of gorillas at the bottom, waiting to catch me. That was the last thing I saw before I fell un-concious."
"Then what happened?"
"Well, I woke up in a cell, wearing white clothes. Next thing I knew, I was being dragged by some girl wearing all pink. I think it was Polly the Pink...... Anyway, she took me to a large room where Javier was waiting for me. He told me why I had been brought to him and what he intended to do with me. Then, I was injected with a purple serum."
"He didn't........ You're not like me..... Are you?"
"I'm afraid so. Well, sort of. I have a different power to you."
"So why did he need to keep you. I mean, after you were injected?"
"To train me to harness my power. He said it had a significant purpose"
"This is all very interesting, but what we need to know is where he is. Do you even know?"
"Actually I do..... He's set up a new base in Kent."
"But....... We've looked everywhere..... How did he keep it hidden?"
"Forcefield.... Also he has an army of people like...... Like me and Ettie. They each have different powers. It's like when Magneto rounded up that mutant army to defeat the humans."
"Does that mean we are the X-men?"
"Well technically we would be the T-men"
"Oh my God! That sounds like the T-birds"
"Well, battle always gets my chills multiplying"
"Uh huh..... It definetly makes me lose control"

We wink at each other and high five:

"When you two finally finish flirting, there's still an important fact we need to know.... How did Javier build a base so quickly?"
"Because I built it with my power"
"What exactly is your power?"
"Telekinesis. I can move objects with my mind"
"Can you show us?"

He looks past Tiffany and at her book-shelf. Suddenly, a book begins to rise into the air and lands in my lap:

"Holy shit!"
"Divergent...... Noice choice"
"Don't I always make noice choices?"
"Well you choose me so....."

Just as he winks at me (Talk about being flirty), Susan bursts through the door; her dark, golden hair sticking to her face. Her pale blue eyes make direct contact with Tiffany's:

"What is it Susan?"
"He's sent us another message"
"Let's go see what the bastard wants"

We all stand up and leave for Tiffany's headquarters.

We enter the room, and there's Javier on the big screen:

"Ahhh, at last. I thought you would never arrive."
"You better have something good to say Javier"

He completely ignores everyone, resting his eyes directly on me and Tony:

"The super couple...... I have a proposition for you;  if you both join my army, I will spare the FOD"
"And if we don't?"
"Well, there's only one way to find that out. If you agree with my offer, come to the base today at 4:30pm. I won't bother giving you directions..... Tony knows where it is"

*the screen goes blank*

"Well what the frick-a-frack do we do now?"
"I say we give him what he wants"
"Are you insane?! You can't give yourselves up. It's a suicide mission"
"Wait!!! We could take the army........ Me and Tony can make it look like we are giving up and then BAM!"
"Sounds like a plan. Me and Tiffany will prepare everything....... You two can prepare yourselves"

Aura and Tiffany walk off, but me and Tony stay put:

"So........... What should we do?"
"I think we should go to the training hall so you can show me more of this power of yours"
"Sounds good"

We head for the training hall, hand in hand (Oh dear lord more couple stuff....... You poor souls)........
