FAIRYTALE

|11•12•2019|

We both vibrate to one sweet harmony
From my chapbook dedicated to you.
These fairytales start unexpectedly,
And we glow with the tinge of pink, not blue.

Delicate and lovely red-letter days,
Exchanging of smiles and recherché gifts.
Hazy is the thought of us parting ways,
But like Earth's plates, our tone suddenly shifts.

We're living the best dream, but dreams do end,
This love is fated to bleed with much red.
All of those sweet gestures will never mend
The cracks and flaws that left you and I dead.

We now roam this land with a broken fate,
With both spirits crushed with despair and hate.
