X: Freedom!

Shard, Leah, Pierce, Sky, and Alice II woke up outside the house that they were in. The five of them were lying on the beach, some face down. Sky looked at the clouds and then looked out at the ocean. Perfect, blue, clear. They finally escaped from tthe Insane Asylum known as Shard's mind. Pierce was lying next to Sky. She woke up and put her arm around Sky's shoulder.

"What happened?" said Pierce.

"We did it.." said Sky. "We won.." Leah woke up and crawled toward Sky and Pierce. She sat next to them and smiled. Alice II woke up and turned toward the group. She growled under her breath and dissapeared. "Wait..where is.."

Shard was buried under some sand. Some people have the worst luck, don't they?

"Shard!" Sky, Pierce, and Leah grabbed Shard's legs and pulled him out of the sand. She lied on his back, his head still pale. "Did.." said Leah. "...did we not make it in time?"

"No we did...his body is re-calibrating with his mind." said Pierce.

No.

"What was that?" said Leah.

No No.

"It sounds like.." said Sky.

No No No NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!

"It's...it's her......" said Shard nervously. He hid behind the girls and covered his head. "Not again..please not again.." Alice II appeared on the other side of the beach. Her aura bursted, causing sand to fly everywhere. When she emerged, she wore dark aura armor all over her body. She was getting serious.

"I...can't be....af-fraid..."said Shard. "This time....we'll fight back...and...w-win!" He was shivering in his boots, but still knew what had to be done. He had to set aside his fears to save everyone. Leah, Sky, and Pierce got uup and drew all their power to them. With Shard's wind power, Leah's ice power, Sky's pure energy power, and Pierce's brand of magic, they stood a good chance at finally putting Alice II down.

Or did they?

At a faraway distance, another girl watched from atop a small building. She looked at the combatants and grinned. "This'll be the last fight. Let the bloodshed begin, heheheh..."
