Mew gently pulled Gulf closer holding his hands, causing the younger man to stumble and fall against him.
"What do you want from meow?" Gulf asked, his voice shaky with unease.
"Just sit," Mew commanded softly. Without hesitation, Gulf settled down in front of him.
"Share your story with me. Tell me how you've come to be in the position you're in," Mew requested, looking deeply into Gulf's eyes.
Confusion clouded Gulf's features. "I'm not what you're implying, but for all the treats you've given me, you can call me that," he replied, attempting to lighten the mood with a playful grin.
Mew's expression hardened. "Just tell me," he insisted, resting his head on Gulf's lap, his gaze fixed on Gulf's chin.
Gulf chuckled, reaching up to tousle Mew's hair. "I'm not your pillow, you know."
"Quiet! Start talking, little one," Mew shot back, his eyes piercing.
Gulf sighed, his playful demeanor fading as he began his tale. "I used to live with my mother and father. Our life revolved around our small business of crafting traditional pots. Despite the simplicity of our life, we were happy. But my father... he was abusive. He would often beat my mother, and one terrible day, he even broke my arm."
Gulf's voice trembled as he continued, "Eventually, my mother had enough. She threw him out, hoping to protect us. But tragedy struck again. My mother fell seriously ill, coughing up blood. Before we knew it, she was gone."
Tears streamed down Gulf's face as he recounted his painful past. A single tear from Gulf landed on Mew's cheek, a silent testament to the depth of his sorrow.
"What happened next?" Asked mew wiping tear drop from his own face which got on him from Gulf's face.
""After some time, my father returned and sold me here for money," Gulf said, his expression filled with sorrow.
"No, I meant where did you previously work as an escort?" Mew asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Escort?" Gulf questioned, confusion evident in his eyes.
"I meant... where did you work as a... um, 'slut'?" Mew corrected himself, hesitating slightly.
"My name is Gulf Kanawut, not 'slut'! By the way, what does 'slut' mean? Is it something like a painter?" Gulf asked, attempting to lighten the mood with a smile.
"You don't know the meaning of 'slut'? Then why did you say yes when I asked you yesterday?" Mew inquired.
"I was scared. I thought you might hurt me, like that cruel man who dragged me here," Gulf replied, his gaze dropping as he nervously fidgeted with his fingers.
"I see. So, you've never worked as a 'slut' or anything like that. How much education do you have? You seem too old to be this naive and timid," Mew remarked.
"I studied up to the third grade in primary school. After that, there were no schools in our area, and my mother couldn't afford to send me elsewhere. So, I stayed home and painted pots with her," Gulf said, his eyes shimmering with pride and nostalgia.
"Ah, I understand now," Mew sighed, taking a moment to look Gulf up and down. "Show me your artistic skills, Gulf. Pretend you're a professional artist creating a masterpiece. I want to see your talent," he added, trying to shift the focus to something more positive.
I knew it that an innocent and coward guy like him can never be slut! How dare his dad to do such inhumanity with him...
Suddenly, Mew's phone buzzed, and he quickly stood up. "Stay here; I'll be back," he said before exiting the room.
Descending the stairs to the ground floor, Mew entered a side office where he was met with a distressing scene: a little girl, a woman, and a man were kneeling on the floor, their hands bound.
"Please, don't kill my family! I swear I'll never betray or harm anyone again!" the man pleaded desperately.
"It's too late for that. You need to die," Mew's father declared coldly, raising his gun and shooting the man point-blank. The man collapsed to the ground lifelessly.
Mew's father was about to kill the woman when Mew intervened.
"Dad, go rest. I'll take care of them," Mew said, snatching the gun away from his father.
"Don't kill them, just make sure to break to break her bones,so that she can reap what her husband did"
His father said and left the room with his bodyguards, leaving Kevin behind. Kevin was not only Mew's personal assistant but also his bodyguard.
"Lock the door, Kevin," Mew instructed. Kevin promptly complied, then proceeded to untie the woman and her daughter. The woman looked terrified.
"Are you going to do something horrible to us?" she cried, pleading for mercy.
"No, no, ma'am. We're not going to harm you. Just apply this fake blood to yourself and get into this sack without moving. I'll help you escape," Kevin reassured her, causing the woman's eyes to widen in disbelief.
"But why are you helping us? Your people killed my husband," she said, holding her daughter close to her.
"Just make it look good," Mew whispered to Kevin, signaling his intention to deceive his father and protect the innocent family.
"It's not your fault, Actually its your fucking husband's fault he knew the consequences, but still he cheated on big boss for money and killed our important staffs,do you know your husband killed around 5 little innocent kids just for some money" Kevin said.
"Thank you so much, young master. I'm truly sorry on his behalf," the lady said, looking at Mew with gratitude.
"Whatever. Just go and disappear. Make sure you're far away from here. If I ever see you again, I'll cut off your legs, chop off your head, and serve your daughter's flesh for dinner," Mew coldly stated, his eyes focused on his phone as he sent a message.
The lady let out a sigh of relief, pretending to be injured as she and her daughter sneaked out with Kevin's help.
"What's happening here?" Mew's stepmother questioned, noticing the commotion.
"The young master has made this lady faint. I'm taking her to the hospital," Kevin quickly responded, causing the woman to give a look of both disgust and fear before walking away.
Once outside, Kevin arranged for a cab to take the lady and her daughter to safety.
"Take this," Kevin said, handing some money to the grateful woman.
"This is too much... I'm just thankful you spared our lives," the lady replied, tears forming in her eyes as the pain of losing her husband weighed heavily on her.
"Don't worry about it. The big boss has seized all your property, so consider this compensation. It should help you get by and relocate to another city. I'll send more next month. Don't worry, it's free," Kevin reassured her with a warm smile.
"Your young master may speak rudely, but isn't he kind-hearted as well?" the lady observed.
"Yes, he is. He just doesn't like to show his softer side. In fact, he can be quite ruthless, but sometimes his mother's genes kick in, and he acts more compassionately," Kevin chuckled, closing the car door as it drove away.
Taking a deep breath, Kevin re-entered the grand house, bracing himself for whatever might come next. Meanwhile, Mew sighed sadly as he looked at the lifeless body before him and walked out of the room.
As Mew made his way upstairs towards his room, he suddenly noticed Gulf running up the stairs in a hurry.
