A New Association (AOT x MHA Fanfic)

Chapter 10

Thanks to my goldfish-sized brain, I forgot to put in something major in the last chapter. I put it in the last chapter, where it was supposed to be in. Make sure to read it to understand the rest of the story (It is after the conversation abt how Mikasa got to the MHA world). Again, I'm sorry T-T. Now, back to the story.

(*The Next Day*)

  I put my pencil down as I finished my homework. Armin and I would call each other when he was on a break at the Quirk Control Center. 

  I checked the time on my alarm clock, and it was 5:58. I promised to meet up with Mikasa at the gate at 7, so I decided to change.

  I got into a light grey long sleeve shirt, a dark grey fleece jacket, black loose pants, and white and black shoes. 

  I put my phone and wallet in my jacket pockets and left my room. 

  To pass the time, I went to the common room. When I walked in, there were no people there.

  When I was walking over to the kitchen, Denki called out to me "Hey, Yeager!" 

  I called out to him with "Hey, Denki!", while getting some chips in the cabinet. 

  I approached Denki on the couches. Mina, Ejiro, and Bakugou were also present.

  "Hey, guys! What's up?" I asked them.

  "Tch. I'm leaving now." Bakugou told us. He got up from the couches and left. 

  I questioned them "What's wrong with him?"

  "That's how Bakubro is," Ejiro replied.

  Mina interrogated all of us "Do y'all want to play Uno now?" 

  "Uno? What's that?" I asked her.

  MIna said "Don't worry, Eren. We'll teach you how to play."

  I exited the dorm and proceeded to the gate. I additionally carried the pride of winning most of the Uno games.

  While walking, I checked the time on my phone, and it was 6:58. I went to the gate and saw Mikasa standing across the street. She was wearing a thick beige sweater with very long sleeves. Mikasa also had her red scarf, jeans, and black flats.

  I ran over to her, not looking left and right first. 

  I heard a car horn honking on my left side. Mikasa quickly dragged me out of the street and to the sidewalk she stood on. 

  "Look left and right before you cross the street, Ereh. I heard that people die from car crashes." Mikasa described to me.

  "But I was careful."

  "You clearly weren't." 

  I sighed and said "C'mon. Let's start the search to find our squadmates." 

  We walked into the city to find our squadmates. Especially the Hooded God.

  It was getting dark, as time passed by. 

  "Ereh, it's getting dark now. Do you want to keep searching?" Mikasa interrogated me.

  I turned to her and answered with "Let's keep searching for a bit. We should split up so we can cover more ground."

  "I agree. Be careful, Eren." She stated and walked the opposite way. 

  I walked the opposing way Mikasa walked.

  I searched and searched the city, but had no luck.

  When I was walking, I heard something strange. I looked on my left, and it was an alleyway. Probably the sound came from there.
