Enemies to Lovers AU (Linzumi)

"Move off the court girls! It's our turn." Izumi yelled as the girl's basketball team walked into the gym. The volleyball girls turned to them and Izumi caught sight of her favorite player's ass, causing her to blush.

Lin: "You guys are early."

Izumi: "Actually we're right on time. You were supposed to be done five minutes ago." Lin cursed under her breath and turned to her teammates.

Lin: "Alright girls move the net back into the corner and head to the showers!" The volleyball captain helped them move the net and bent down to pick up her stuff.

Kya: "Nice ass Beifong!" Izumi turned to her best friend, enraged. Lin blushed and glared at Kya. Some of the girls snickered.

Izumi: "Really?!"

Kya: "What! Am I wrong?" Before Izumi could answer, both the volleyball coach and the basketball coaches (girls and boys) walked into the gym.

Coach Zuko: "Boys! Go sit on the bleachers! Girls get to work! Volleyball members shower quickly and come back in here! We have news!" Everyone listened and by the time the volleyball team finished, the girls basketball players had finished their warmups and stretches. "Alright now that everyone is here, we have good news!"

Coach Mai: "We are going on a huge trip, only the basketball teams, cheerleaders, and volleyball team is going. This is the big trip included with the money you paid for uniforms, equipment, and of course, this trip. Coach Sokka will hand out the permission slips for your parents to sign. Lin, Kya, Tenzin, Izumi, and Bumi! Your parents have already given you permission to go but still have to sign the permission slip so we have paper evidence!"

"Yes ma'am!"

Sokka finished passing the slips out and Lin had a question for Sokka.

Lin: "Dad- I mean Coach Sokka, can you sign mine? Mom can't actually see my slip..." A few members of the boys basketball team laughed and she shrunk down in her seat.

Sokka: "Hey! All of you, suicides! Now!" The boys basketball team groaned loudly and got up, walking down the bleachers and onto the court. The girls sat on the bleachers and watched as the boys got punished. "Don't stop running until I tell you too!"

Tenzin and Bumi: "Uncle Sokka!"

Sokka: "You laugh you run!" He turned back to his step-daughter and held his hand out for the sheet. She gave it to him and he signed his name in the correct spot. "Here ya go kiddo."

Lin: "Thank you!" Izumi had her parents sign her permission slip and both Lin and Izumi turned them in.

Sokka: "Zuko! You got this handled here?" Zuko nodded and kept an eye on the boys basketball team. "Alright we're going home. See y'all later and don't forget to get those permission slips signed! The trip is in two weeks! Everything you need is on that paper so do not lose it!"

"Yes sir!" Everyone answered. Lin walked off the bleachers and followed Sokka to his car.

*Two Weeks Later*

The coach buses pulled up in the parking lots and the girls got on one, the boys got on the other one.

Mai: "Everyone get up! Sit with someone you don't know or like!" Somehow Lin and Izumi got put together even though they tried to sit as far away from each other as possible. Kya got put with some girl on the volleyball team who she fought in Freshmen Year. "That's better. This is a bonding trip so bond!"

They were going to New York City all the way from Atlanta, Georgia so this was going to be a long trip. Lin ended up falling asleep as soon as possible due to not wanting to talk to Izumi. The basketball captain just sat their on her phone the whole time, occasionally sneaking glances at Lin. By 9 p.m everyone was asleep and the drivers made their first stop for gas.
