Caller: I've been robbed!
Operator: Ok, were are you?
Caller: I'm the corner shop on Error Lane.
Operator: I'm sending someone over.
*end of call*
The officer arrived but didn't chase the the thief...
"Hi, sir." He had said to the the shop keeper.
"Hello?" The man responded with.
"May I ask how much the item cost?" The cop asked.
"Around £45.99 Officer..?"
"Officer Bailey, here's a check for £100 in my name, sorry for the robbery."
"Thank you! Why didn't you chase the man?"
"You never know how much someone needs that food."
A few weeks went by...
*On call*
Caller: I've been robbed!
Operator: Ok, were are you?
Caller: I'm the corner shop on Error Lane.
Operator: I'm sending someone over.
*end of call*
"Hi, sir." He had said to the the shop keeper.
"Hello!" The man responded with.
"How much did the item cost?" The cop asked.
"Around £700, Officer Bailey"
"Here's a check for £1,000 in my name, I'm very sorry for all the robbery's."
Again, a few weeks went by...
*On call*
Caller: I've been robbed!
Operator: Ok, were are you?
Caller: I'm the corner shop on Error Lane.
Operator: I'm sending someone over.
*end of call*
"Hi, sir." He had said to the the shop keeper.
"Hello!" The man responded with.
"How much did the item cost?" The cop asked.
"Around £5,000 , Officer Bailey"
"Here's a check for £12,000 in my name, again I am sorry for the robbery."
For another time, a week went by...
*On call*
Caller: I've been robbed!
Operator: Ok, were are you?
Caller: I'm the corner shop on Error Lane.
Operator: I'm sending someone over.
*end of call*
"Did you see the direction the robber went?" A different, female officer asked.
"Umm.. no, where's Officer Bailey?" The shopkeeper asked confused.
"He passed away a few days ago, he didn't have enough money for his treatment. He had cancer."
"Oh, I'm sorry."
"I've got him!" Another cop said with the robber in handcuffs.
The shopkeeper didn't look pleased they caught him though.
"I should of never of agreed to doing this, the money wasn't worth it!" The robber had said. "We are no longer friends! You will pay me double for this! You said I won't get caught!"
"I-I didn't know what your talking about. Don't rob me!"
