"That is quite fascinating," Erros muttered deeply in thought after Lillith explained what she discovered the day prior, "to my knowledge the only kind that cries blood is mine." His eyes found hers, sincerity in them.

"But I'm not one of your kind."

"That is the fascinating thing about it." A soft smile crept up his lips. "About you."

She smiled ever so slightly but was somewhat irritated as well. How many more secrets does her existence bare?

"The test I ran with you did not show anything suspicious, though, since your race is unknown, a standard is difficult to assign." He caught her eyes, his expression professional. "This must sound worrisome, but please, attempt to not give in to fear. Your body is healthy and recovery is advancing swiftly." He placed his palm on her thigh and smiled. "I will continue my research."

She returned the smile. "Thank you, Erros. For tending my health and spending your time with that."

"No need to thank me. I enjoy this analysis quite much. Now, I would like to take a look at your back, if you would allow me." He stood up and turned, giving her privacy as she removed her top.

"Of course." Lilith stood with her upper body bare, covering her chest with her shirt, as Erros examined her wounds.

"It appears that the cicatrization has begun," he muttered as his eyes travelled her back.

"And that is?"

"The scarring process. The last stage of wound healing has begun. Your back still cannot be strained for another few days, but you will get your usual mobility back increasingly now."

"Finally! Does that mean I can finally take baths now?"

"I would recommend to wait another few days, but soon you will."

"I can't wait, thank you."

"You're most welcome, Lilith. You may dress again."

"I may? What if I would like to walk around topless?" she joked.

His chuckle brought a shiver over her skin. "In that case I, not speaking as your doctor, would not complain."

She turned, shirt still over her breasts, eyes glancing at him and away again. "I mean... would that even be possible?" Her voice was more quiet than before.

"Having sex?" She swallowed at his bluntness, her heartbeat increasing at his cocky smirk. "It would. As long as your partner would be careful to not stress your back." She averted her eyes quickly and nodded. She was afraid that looking at him would result in the flames of desire to burn hotter. The smirk on his lips would cleary not help. "Why are you asking? Is there someone in sight?"

Heat gathered in her head, she felt a spark of need running through her body. "There might be."

Erros laughter took her off guard, head snapping up to meet his eyes. "Is that so?" She nodded, licking her lips subconsciously. "That is no surprise with such a beautiful being." He cupped her face, fingers tracing her jawline to her chin, tilting it up. A hint of guilt was veiling the darkness and his expression became softer. "Where is that guilt coming from?"

Head tilted away in shame she took a deep breath. "I... I feel things towards several of you- no. That's wrong. All of you. I just feel drawn to you all and-" A slim finger over her lips stopped her from continuing.
