Prologue - How It Begins

What is an idol?

And idol is someone who is greatly admired, loved or is an image or representation of a god used as an object of worship.

Well, according to Google, that's what an idol is.

What's the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word 'idol'?

Nowadays people would say 'celebrity'. Particularly someone who has many talents - usually singing or acting - that are not only gifted but have incredible good looks as well. Some even seem too good to be real.

Now who is Eve Grace?

If you don't know who she is then I must ask you one question: have you been living under a rock?

Eve Grace is one of those idols. The type where she has a fanbase big enough to be a small country's population. The one with those crazed die hard fans that swoop in if any slight insult - intended or not - were to be thrown against her. Fierce guardians of their beloved celebrity.

And yes, she's also part of the "too-good-to-be-true type".

Not only has she sold millions of CD's, not only has she appeared in numerous films with highly acclaimed critics praising her devotion and passion for her work, not only has she graced the cover of many infamous style magazines and claimed to be the muse of the most affluent and highly praised designers... she's also an active saint in the community.

She's perfect.

Or at least, that's what she pretends to be.

That's what I thought she was...
