I stare down at him and the breath is taken from my chest. Even dead he's beautiful. His long hair is covering his eyes and his mouth is partially open, a small river of blood cascading from it. The loud sounds of gunshots fade away and it's just me and him, him and I. I see him smiling at me, laughing. I see us kissing for the very first time, I see us making love for the very first time.
"Everything will be okay, Priscilla. I won't let anyone hurt you." he said to me before we got here. Yet, here he is causing me the worst pain I've felt in my life time. My heart feels as if it might explode. Tears run down my face and a weird choking noise escapes my lips. Suddenly, everything comes back into focus and I see Evie yelling my name, running towards me.
"Cil! Let's go! We have to go!" I shake my head slowly, then move it so fast I think I'm going to snap my neck. Good. Then I can be with him. Suddenly there's a pain in my knees and I discover I've fallen, hard.
"No! God, No! Please, not you too! You promised! You swore you'd always be here! Wake the fuck up!!" I hear myself scream. I fall onto his chest and punch him, hard, hoping it'll wake him. I eventually give up and bundle his bloodied t-shirt in my hands. I feel Evie's hands on my shirt, trying to pry me off, but it's faint.
Suddenly I'm filled with white hot rage. I stand up and grab my gun, pushing Evelynn away from me in the process. I cock it and shoot the evil man in his chest. "Fuck you! You fucking did this, you monster! You couldn't just fucking leave it could you? Well fuck you, asshole!" I finish off the remaining bullets and drop the pistol to the floor.
"Priscilla! Let's fucking go!" She yells again. This time I listen to her. I lean down and kiss his lips one more time and rip the chain around his neck. I stuff it into my pocket and run to safety with my dear friend, Evelynn.
