As a teacher Shen Yuan was definitely one of the best. For starters, he actually coordinated tests and assignments with other teachers so the students wouldn't have to go through a week of hell where all tests and assignments were at the same time (because teachers don't know how to communicate.) This in on itself made him quite popular with many students, though more students seemed to try and act out during his class in recent days... Shen Yuan also organised his lessons so they were much easier to understand without cutting out important information, it turns out students learn better when they're not just left with a textbook in front of them and their teacher does his job. He's also extremely supportive of his students, and helps them individually before tests. Not one child in any of his classes has submitted an assignment late or gotten below 80% since he's been working at that school. For which, many students were very grateful, saying that they've really made their parents proud. He even taught them things outside of his department, like how to properly take and revise notes. Because reading without comprehension definitely doesn't help as much as properly studying.

Though he'd spend a lot more time making sure students succeeded on tests than what he did making friends... he couldn't help it! All the faculty currently at this school was middle aged or older not including himself! He doesn't want to sit and eat his 2min noodles next to a bunch of washed out prunes who's only lesson plan is a lecture!

Most of his time was spent being a responsible adult, which he found was actually a little fulfilling... but when he wasn't he'd just chill in the corner of his classroom by himself on his phone. Yeah, he can't get out of his habit. Once a procrastinator always a procrastinator. Don't get him wrong! Those internet novels were really goddamn bad but sometimes he had nothing better to do! Or so he likes to tell himself. Anyway! Great god Aeroplane Shooting Towards The Sky has really picked up his game! [Proud Immortal Demonic Way] was actually getting readable. And honestly he really didn't mind seeing a lot of Mobei-Jun reminiscing over Shang QingHua's death and what happened between them during life. Otherwise how was it possible that the great Mobei-Jun would trust a human who was both a  cultivator and a peak lord. Call him whatever you want but Shen Yuan was low key shipping... Shipping side characters in a stallion novel! Ridiculous!

He shook his head of these thoughts before he looked up fanart- "god what am I doing???" He thought, internally smacking himself over the head. Honestly, PIDW should be over by now! It's been going on for years, that's the only thing Shen Yuan will give aeroplane-bro, he's definitely good at stretching things out.

Luo Binghe and Ning YingYing sat just outside of his room, bathing in the sun.
"Doesn't he just seem so lonely to you a-Luo?" It was clear that they were both talking about Shen yuan, he'd been their topic of conversation since he first came here.
"Yeah..." he kept staring, from the graceful way his hands grip the length of his phone down to his minute expressions which he tries to hide completely entrance Binghe. He wonders what exactly he's doing on his phone that would make eyebrows twitch that much...
"Hey a-Luo~" she shuffled closer to him without him even noticing, ahhhh that's how enamoured her poor Binghe is. "Don't you think mr. Shen kinda looks like-" she dug around her school bag for her phone, curse the uniform for not giving skirts pockets! "-Like Shen QingQiu from [Proud Immortal Demonic Way]?" She popped an image in front of Binghe's face of some official art. Binghe really couldn't see a difference except for the longer hair and clothing style... even the fashion preference is the same: high collars in pale greens and whites. But it was startling to his psyche, he looked the exact same as the man who dies in his arms every night when his eyes are shut.

"Rule +34?" He didn't let his shock show on his face, to which YingYing smirked and her fingers went flying clicking things until his phone in his pocket vibrated over a dozen times. He quickly made sure no one was behind him before he clicked on the first image, phone so close to his face just in case someone were to walk by. His blush reached his entire body as a whole and he quickly turned his phone off, staring straight ahead to cool his mind. Only it happened to be that Shen Yuan was right in his field of vision!
