The date was August 19th, 2021. Let's see what's happening in Negi Root City today. Tatiana Ivanov (Matryoshka Miku) and her older sister Vera Ivanov (Matryoshka Gumi) were sitting together at the computer talking to Ciel on Zoom.
Ciel: So, you came from Russia?
Matryoshka Miku: That's right.
Ciel: That's pretty cool. So, why did you move here to Negi Root?
Matryoshka Gumi: We couldn't stand the cold anymore. And neither could our parents.
Matryoshka Miku: Our parents now live in another part of Negi Root. And we talk to them as often as we can.
Ciel: That's nice that you stay in touch with your loved ones after you move away from them. I just wanted to say happy birthday to you both.
Matryoshka Gumi: Thanks, Ciel. You're pretty sweet.
Ciel: So how old are you?
Matryoshka Miku: I'm turning 19, while Vera here is turning 21.
Ciel: Are you going to drink or gamble, Vera?
Matryoshka Gumi: I don't know. I haven't really thought about it.
Ciel: You don't have to.
Matryoshka Gumi: Maybe some vodka or something. We'll see.
Matryoshka Miku: Anyways, don't you have your online school to go to?
Ciel: Yeah, you're right. I should be going now. Hope you 2 have a good day.
Matryoshka Gumi: You too, Ciel.
And so, Tatiana, Vera, and Ciel signed off from Zoom.
