Chapter 5

Maddie's POV

Justin's a bitch I hate him so much, I don't know why he wants to do anything with me? He hated me so much when I left him, I really hope I'm not here for too long.

"Urgh! It's like 7:00 why can't I go back now??!" I ask Justin whilst thrashing around in my chair. "I told you! You will tell someone about where we are and they will report us." Justin said back. "I promise I won't tell anyone, I'm new it's not like they will believe me anyway." I say and look down as I remember the dreadful memory from years ago.

" fine!, you can go but I swear if you tell anybody, anybody at all I will hurt anyone you love, even that skinny little boy." Justin replied. "Who Luke?" I ask "no, I was thinking of Ashton but I'll add Luke to my list." Justin said standing up from his seat. "Why bring them into it they have done nothing wrong!" I yell angrily at the boys surrounding Justin and I.

"Because as I said, I will hurt anyone you love, and you clearly love him. Don't you?" Justin said. "Ashton? No we are only friends we just met a couple days ago," I said. "I was talking about Luke..." He said "oh" was all I could mange to say, "I'll make sure loverboy goes first" Justin said with a massive smirk on his face.

Luke's POV

I have been looking everywhere for Maddie and I still haven't found her, it's late and I'm really worried about her. She said something about a basement and I have know idea where to start looking.
I headed to the library to do some research on the school and find out if they have a basement, it's a good idea right? As I was flicking through books about the school history I came across a page that look pretty messed up, it was ripped, it had coffee stains and it was really hard to read from the ink running down the page. I started to read it:
"on the night of July 30th 1990 Northwood was built....."
It continued for about 3 paragraphs until I came across the layers of the school.

"A 5 story UNI was sure to hold over 1000 students, 2 of the stories were dorm rooms as the others were classrooms and a basement....."

So the school does have a basement.. Well at least I know I can look for Maddie there.

I have know idea where the entrance is for the school basement but I fell like I am getting closer. " excuse me? What are you doing here?" A teacher asked from behind me, "um, I was sent down here to put these things in the basement." I replied back, holding up a plastic back that had my clothes in it, I was lying but I did need to find the basement. "Down the hall on your right is a staircase leading to the basement." The teacher told me, "ok thanks." I replied and started to head down the very long dark hall.....

Maddie's POV

Justin was straddling me now, he was really close to my face. I was trying to back away but I was impossible seeing as though Justin was leaning in closer...
BOOM!!!! The doors of the room that we were in, busted open everyone was shocked to see a tall figure standing in the doorway with two water guns in his hand. As the dust started to fade away it became clearer to see who was standing there........"get away from her!" He said, "LUKE HELP!!" I screamed, Justin's men started to fight Luke while he was also spraying water at them.. I thought it was really cute and funny how he made a spectacular entrance but held a pink and green water gun.

Luke had already knocked down three out of the five men, I noticed that Justin was starting to pull the chair that I was attached to away from the fight scene. He turned me around so I couldn't see the fight, but as stupid as Justin is he forgot that there was a mirror that stood in front of me and I could see what was happening behind me. It was quite old so it wasn't as clear but still noticeable. Luke had beaten all of Justin's men and was about to untie me when Justin appeared behind Luke with a pistol aiming for his head. I quickly shouted "LUKE WATCH OUT BEHIND YOU!" And in that split second a loud bang was heard and the thud of a body hitting the floorboards, everything in my vision stared to go black when I realised that it was me who got shot.....

Sorry that this chapter was short but I have had a lot of school work lately and it's hard to keep up. Thank you guys so much for reading this book as I have already reached 200 reads!
