Perfect Misery

Chapter 1

Chapter 1:

I have been looking myself over in the mirror for the last 10 minutes. I've been making sure that everyone of my long blonde curls are perfect; that my natural make up is flawless; and my short white dress with gold detailing that I paired with black and cream heels, and a gold chain necklace and a matching bracelet and earrings has no wrinkles in it. I also carried a black clutch to match my dress. My best friend Carter, walked up behind me and fix a couple Carter life I don't my back. "You look perfect, Danny. Luke is going to love your new dress."

"Thanks, Carter. I'm just so nervous for my date with Luke," I say while Turing around to look her in the eyes.

"Danny you have nothing to worry about. Everything is going to be fine," she assured me with the smile. That's when the doorbell rang. "He's here," I am bracer and a hug, "Thanks Carter. I love you and I'll see you tomorrow."

"Bye Danny. Have fun," I heard Carter from the top of the steps as I open the door to find a loop standing on the other side with a single rose.

"Hey babe," he said it embracing me and a hug as I close the door behind us. Before pulling him and close for a quick peck on the lips that I grab the raising my hand and answer him with a "Hi baby! How are you?"

"Good! How are you?"

"I'm great now that your here. So where are we going for dinner?"

"It's a surprise."

"Oh, but you know I hate surprises. Please tell me."

"Nope. You will like this one."

We walk to the car. On the way to the restaurant we had the radio blasting. We sang along to every song that came on. As we got closer to the restaurant he told me to close my eyes and not to peak. Once we got to the parking lot of the "secret" restaurant he told me I could open my eyes. When I open my eyes and we were in front of Johnny Rockets.

"I know it's not a super fancy, romantic restaurant, but..." I cut him off.

"It's where we went on our first day. I love it. Thank you." I went up and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"I was hoping you would like it."

We walked in the Johnny Rockets hand and hand. Once we landed in line to order I realize how overly dressed we both word.

"If you knew we were coming to a fast food restaurant why did you tell me to dress so fancy," I asked confused.

"Because this is not your only surprise tonight," he said winking at me.

"Why do you plan so many surprises for me when you know I hate them."

"Because I like to see that cute little face you make when you get all excited," he said kissing me on the cheek.

"All how sweet, but please tell me where were going next," I said a popping the 'p'.

"Nope. Sorry."

We finish our meal and head back to the car.

"Will you please tell me where were going," I asked grabbing his hand.

"No, we will be there in no time. You will just have to wait."

"Okay," I move my hand away, "This surprise better be good."

The rest the car ride we didn't talk much. Assert out the window of Luke's car so we parked in front of the beach.

"We're here," he said excitedly grabbing my hand in helping me out of the car. He handed me a blindfold and told me to put it on. I wrapped it around my eyes and grabbed his hand. He guided me down the beach and we walked her for about five minutes before he told me to take it off so I took it off in before me was balloons and lights and everything else ready for a good beach party. After around two seconds about 50 or 60 people from school jumped up and yelled, "Surprise Danny!" I turned around and jumped up on Luke and gave him a kiss. "You did this? For me?"

"Yep. If you it's your last night I want you to have fun."

"I love it. Thank you." I gave him one last kiss it and walked over to Carter. She looks great. She was dressed in a red dress similar to mine was that accessorized with a silver necklace I got her for her 17th birthday last year and diamond airings to match.

"Babe you look beautiful," I said to her, giving her a hug, "Were you in on all of this too."

"Yep! Do you like it?"

"I love it! Thank you!"

We continue to have a conversation until I decided to go see who else was there. Throughout the night I barely saw any more awake and or Carter. Around midnight everyone was either drunk or high. I started to worry that I hadn't seen lake or Carter all night so I decided to go look for them. When I found them they were walking back up to the party from somewhere else and down the beach. "Where have you guys been? You're missing the party. I have been looking all over the place for y'all. I was beginning to get worried."

"Oh us? Um we were just taking a walk. You know talking about your last surprise of the night. You know since you will be leaving tomorrow," Carter said with a smile. She seemed kind of nervous but that didn't really bother me.

"Oh. Ok. So what's the surprise?"

"You'll see," Luke said with a wink as he took me about my hand and brought me to the car.

"Where are we going now," I asked confused.

"Don't worry about it, Danny."

The car ride was filled with music and loud singing.

"We're here," Luke said as we drove up to his house.

"What are we going to do here?"

"Well my parents are away for the weekend, and Lindsay (Luke's sister) is spending the night with one of her friends, so we have the house to ourselves. I was hoping we could have a little fun. Just the two of us."

"That sounds great. Is this the last surprise?"

"Yes."

Went up to give him a kiss sentence actually walked away. I knew he would watch me. But I turned around his eyes were glued to my body. His eyes slowly rose to mine as I spoke, "Are you coming?"

"Um... Yea. You just look so beautiful."

"Thank you. Now let's go."

We walked to the door of his house. Once we got inside we raced to his room. "I won," I yelled.

"You might have been the winner of that race, but I'm the big winner tonight."

I press my lips against his. He licked my bottom lip; he was begging for entrance. I allowed him to continue it into my mouth as he started to undress me. I tugged at his shirt; signaling wanted it off. As he was bringing the t-shirt over his head I place my hands over his abs. We moved to the bed and started to make out again with that his arms were laying on either side of my face. He tugged at my underwear and he slipped his off of his hips and to my ankles where he flung them to the floor. We continue through the night when we were done he fell to my side and brought me close. He snuggled up to me and we fell asleep.
