"Have you talked to her yet?" Innis asked, walking into the kitchen a few weeks later. She and his grandfather were away when Nicole came home and weren't able to get back until now.

Reece was just coming from the gym to get his morning coffee and Innis  question had him lift a brow, looking over to her shaking his head, and sighing.

"A little. Nicki will barely talk. The only thing I really got out of her was that she was forced to marry Jabari, and they made her abort our child. I took everything in me not to go crazy when she told me. Seanmhair, if I could bring that fucker back to life and kill him, I would. What more is it to talk about?"

"Everything Reece. Nicole was with them bastards for almost a full-on year. She was married and used as that asshole's sex toys to produce something that he could not. I have to ask, does that bother you? That she hasn't talked to you about sleeping with another man? Or that you found out about it from Heaven and Neveah? Do it change the way you feel about her?" Innis asked. Reece stared at her, then at Nicole standing in the kitchen doorway before turning and leaving.

"No. That changes nothing, Seanmhair. I love that woman, and she couldn't control what she had to do to stay alive. I have mo bhanrigh bhrèagha (my beautiful queen) back, and that is all I can think about. I still intend on marrying Nicole only when she is ready." Reece said, touching his grandmother's hand before going to find Nicole.

"Can I talk to you?" Reece asked soon as he stepped foot in the nursery with the children. Reece nodded his head to her bedroom door. She was in the room with the children watching them play along with the nanny. Both babies looked up at Reece, smiling and waving, and he had to admit it was a damn good feeling to have his son sleep under him for the first time in a year. Michael didn't want to leave him, and Reece didn't want him to leave his bed. He just wished Nicole would have stayed too, but he understood. Anyhow, he walked them over to the bedroom, and soon as the door shut, Nicole started to attack Reece, trying to remove his clothes.

"Wait... wait, hold up, Nicole...."

"No, I miss you. I want to feel you. You to hold me please," She said, kissing his neck then down his chest. Reece buckled as he lifted Nicole carrying her over to the bed, undressing her then himself as he quickly slid inside of her. Reece kissed along her brand up to her lips. He didn't think it was necessary to switch positions. Simply because Reece wanted to stare into her beautiful eyes until he was finished and to make sure he wasn't dreaming.

"When I said talk, Nicki. I didn't mean to make love," Reece chuckled as she laid on him. She giggled, kissing his chest before laying her head back down.

"I know, but I missed you... I was stupid, Reece. Mad because Winter showed up here. Mad because she was throwing the fact she slept with you in my face. I care nothing about if that baby is yours or not. If she is, then we will take her. I just wish I would have listened to you and took the time to think before reacting to my stupid emotions. "

"No, I made you run. I should have told you before Winter showed her face to you that she was the one claiming her child was mine. I made it seem like I still had secrets when I don't." Reece said as she nodded against him.

"Your life before me isn't secrets Ree. I understand that now. I understand why you didn't tell me that you were mafia or that you had a son. It's the secrets we keep from each other now that matters... D-do you still love me? I know we just had sex, but I don't want to come between you and whoever you've been with for this past year. I can't get mad because I was sleeping with Jabari willing. A-and I'm s-sorry. I just didn't want to die. If I did I didn't know what they would have done Michael. I had to stay alive for him and you," She said as Reece felt her tears rolling down his chest. He sighed, lifting them where their eyes could meet.
