Chapter 1

Today has been a hard day not a lot of people have came to the shop. Due to a parade going on only a few blocks from my shop. Mostly I've gotten people just coming in here to use the restroom and that's it or to cool off because it's a hot day out. Having a candle shop was my mom's dream so when she passed she left the store for me to run. I enjoy working in a candle shop because of all the good smelling candles but sometimes it's tiring because I have to run a whole shop by myself plus I'm the only one here today because. My bestfriend Jennie is out with her boyfriend at the parade. I hear the door open. " Hello How may I help you" I say standing up from behind the counter after putting something away. I stand up to see a man standing in front of the counter. He was a middle age guy with bright pink hair and small almond shaped eyes. His face is round, he has a small button nose he's wearing a plan white shirt with blue jeans and white shoes a very plain casual outfit. " If your here to use the bathroom sir it's to your right" i say pointing at the bathroom door. He looks at the door then back at me with his dark brown eyes. He smiles at me " bad of you to assume i needed to use the bathroom, I'm actually here to by something from here, I hear you have the best candles in Seoul so I thought I would come check your shop out or am I in the wrong shop your the owner of min family candles right". " Yes sir hello my name is min y/n I am the owner of this shop" I say hopping over the counter. " Hello my name is park Jimin" he says shaking my hand. " Nice to meet you please have a look around" I say as he walks away to look around.  I hop back over the counter and wait for Jimin to get done shopping. Five minutes later. He walks back to the counter. " Did you find everything you need" I ask looking up at him. " No actually everything here smells so good I can't decide on just one for now can you choose one for me" he says smiling at me. " are you more of a floral or bakery or nature smell type of guy Jimin"  I say grabbing my smell book of all the candles. " I don't know I like all types of scents". " How about you choose" he says. " Hmmm, let's see" I say looking at the book. " Ha, how about plum blush it smells like cherry blossoms and plum tree's it's my favorite scent" I say looking at him with a smile. "that sounds heavenly I'll take it" he says smiling at me. I grab the candle from behind me off the shelf. It's a pale pink candle with cherry blossom petals mixed into it. I wrap up the candle in pink paper and stuff it into our signature black bags. " Here you go" I say handing the bag to Jimin. " thank you see you next time" Jimin says leaving the store after paying.  I close up after Jimin leaves and go home because I don't think anyone else will come.
