Once we had arrived we immediately were guided to the meeting room, which had quiet a bit more people than i expected and most of them were alpha's. The only people i knew here were Milton, Dean, Heron, Lily, Brysen and Milton's beta Nelson. There were three others who I didn't know.
"Since everyone is here i think we can get started now!" Milton spoke. "First I would like-"
"Just get to the point and don't waste our time." the silvered hair interrupted Milton. Rude much!
"Alpha Nolan." the man with glasses spoke. "I'm sure you wouldn't mind that some of your time is spent for something as important as this matter."
"Shut up you four-eyed!" Burn! The silver haired or alpha Nolan spoke again. Looks like someone here has anger issues.
"Alpha Nolan please refrain from using such words and for insulting alpha Lawson." Heron spoke seriously with Lily seated beside him who had a serious look on her face. Well look at her miss luna of Midnight pack.
She looked at me and her face changed from a serious one to one who is trying to hold her laugh mine did the same. She hasn't changed she is the same Lily who can't keep a straight face in serious moments.
"Huh, no one was talking to you mister tamed puppy!" that was it. A laugh escaped from me and everyone looked at me. I covered it with a cough. While Dean looked like he was having fun, Heron was ready to jump at Nolan and snap his neck. He would have done that if it wasn't for Lily's hand holding him back. Well Nolan wasn't wrong he is a tamed puppy after all.
Alpha Nolan was restless with his burns. I'm waiting for the moment when he will say something to Brysen.
"That's enough!" the dark haired woman spoke. And everyone fell silent. I remember her she is Naida alpha of Water pack. "Alpha Nolan we have more important matter to discuss than your time. If you don't want to spend your time here, then you know where the door is!" she said it in a sweet voice that you could mistake it for a advice.
This time mister anger issue shut up. Damn were alpha meetings always this fun, If I'd known I would've brought popcorn. I should also thank Milton for inviting me.
"As you all aware the son of the now decased alpha of Mist turned out to be alive. What happened that day was truly tragic but the previous neigbour alpha's didn't care about that. Their only care was the land. So the land was split between Hollow, Thunder, Dark, Water and Bloodmoon pack. So now Kol the future alpha of the Mist pack wants the land back." Milton explained. While the others listened carefully.
"I get it." mister anger issue spoke. "He wants the land back but we can't give to him. Because for that last fifteen years the land has been rebulided. At least almost 50% has been. "
"But he is not going to settle with that small land that is left of the Mist pack." Lawson added.
"So, what? He can't start a war. He doesen't have an army!" Whean Dean said that everyone fell silent.
"No matter how dumb a person is, they won't declare war without being sure that victory would be on their side." Alpha Nadia spoke. So that means that he might have an army.
"We suspect that his army includes rouges because most of Mist pack was wiped fifteen years ago. And the other alphas might sympathise with him and join hands." Nelson explained. "If that happens the peace in Antenta will be distruped."
"But what can we do? We can not give te lands that we spent fortunes on building it." every one fell silent. Heron, and Dean's pack weren't neighbors of the mist pack so they don't have any of the mist pack land. They are only here to support Milton.
"Tomorrow there is going to be a party and I have invited Kol." Milton spoke.
"Why would you do that?" alpha Nolan butted in.
"We have to come to an agreement with him. If we start a war both sides will have losses. I'm sure it wouldn't benefit him." Your wrong Milton. And admit it you invited him to gain more information.
"You think someone who lost his family will care if he loses some rouges to get what he wants." I spoke. I'm sorry but I couldn't keep it anymore. Everyone stared at me. "As much as I hate to say this, but if you all refuse to give back the land, war might start and that would throw the whole Antenta in chaos. Not only that but your packs are one with the most riches, other packs might look at this opportunity and attack you on the other side.
"And let's just say the war finishes and you won. It still won't work because your packs would be weakened and other may take advantage of that. After all when the peace no longer is there they can do that."
Everyone stood stunned in silence while Brysen looked at me smirking like he expected this.
"And how do you miss flappy mouth think we can solve this." Flappy mouth, what kind of nickname is that.
"First, you won't like my idea and second don't call me that."
Alpha Naida who looked curios spoke "We'll be the judge of that, go on."
"Well, you can give him 50% of the land but you'll be the ones that will manage the buildings there. And of he insists on taking the other land he would have to pay for the buildings."
"So basically after his financial state has improved, if he wants the land he will buy the buildings, by the time his financial state has improved you all have the time to find somewhere else to build things." Everyone stood silent for a while. Guess they were thinking about what I said.
"It's a good idea, but there isn't any other land we can use." Nolan spoke and others nodded in agreement. "At some point I don't think we can find a way to solve this. Unless Kol somehow miraculously has a large sum of money to pay for 50% of the land. We can't give him more."
"At this point war is inevitable."

The meeting finally ended, it has been hours but we still came up with nothing. Damn I guess being a Alpha is difficult, I never plan being one.
"Satan." a very annoying familiar voice spoke. Dean.
"What?"
He came close to me, put his arm around my shoulder and whispered in my ear. "Missed me, Elizabeth?"
I scoffed "You wished, honey."
He grinned and pulled me closer to him. "Oh come on my Elizabeth don't wound my heart more than you already have. Cause I can't take it anymore. I cannot look at you and realize that you loathe me, my shattered heart cannot handle that." There he goes again with that poetic shit.
I removed his arm from my shoulder and continued to walk to the kitchen. He followed me of course. There was a time when i thought that I was attracted to Dean but I was wrong, though we did get a little close back then but still it meant nothing. And I knew Dean didn't think much of it.
When we arrived at the kitchen, I saw Brysen flirting with the cook. Damn he is like a hormonal teenager, he needs to be more mature. Can't belive soon he will be a alpha.
"Yoo Brysen—" Dean words were interrupted by a loud crashing noise that came from the living room. All off us quickly rushed to see what's going on and there stood three wolves, blood dripping down their jaws. Well shit!
