Summary: Misty is bored one night after being forced to go to the mall with a few of her friends. Mark invites her over to help him play a new game that Pewds wants him to try. The beginning of a relationship forms after a night of game rage, jump scares, and Goonies.

In the grips of the setting sun the girls walked along looking for a good café to have dinner after a long day of vigorous shopping. Misty sighed feeling more than grumpy and to add to it, her stomach growled. “Misty what’s up with you today girl?” Amber one of her friends asked as they walked along on the sidewalk. Misty would rather be with her best friend Mark Fischbach who had invited her to play a new game earlier.

“I was originally going to Mark’s tonight to play a new game with him, but you two crazy women had to drag me along with you shopping which you know I hate” Misty pouted her bottom lip sticking out like a little child. Amber and Lilly couldn’t help but laugh at the expression on their friend’s face.

“Cheer up Mist after supper text Mark and let him know you’ll be coming. Besides I think we’ve done enough shopping for today anyway” Lilly chuckled as they walked up to an outdoor café.

As the trio sat down and looked through the menu Amber couldn’t help but to see Misty staring off into space. “Mist…hey Misty are you ok?” she said prodding the girl who shook her head and came back down to earth.

“Y-yeah I’m fine…why wouldn’t I be?” Misty asked defensively as she came out of her reverie. A small blush formed across her cheeks as she remembered what she had been thinking about.

“Well you were staring off into space again…seriously Misty you’ve been doing that a lot lately. Oh but I bet you were thinking about a certain YouTuber huh?” Amber asked smirking a little for   the effect. Misty blushed and looked away hoping that she really wouldn’t have to reply to that question.

Quickly she threw up her defensive barrier hoping that the girls would buy it. “Uh no…look it’s not like that. You two have known that Mark, Wade, Bob, and I have been close friends for a long time and besides he probably wouldn’t like me like that anyway” she answered in a matter of fact tone causing her two companions to shake their heads.

“You have a crush on him and you won’t admit it. Aww how cute… but we’re not gonna prod anymore. We both hope you and Mark have fun…what’s the new game again?” Lilly asked pulling out her phone and texting someone.

“He just told me it was a game that Pewds dared him to do it’s a ‘let’s play’. Mark said it was called ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’ so I’m a bit pumped” Misty answered feeling more like herself. Misty straightened her glasses as she told them what Mark had texted her a few hours ago when they were in ‘Hot Topics’.

~Time Skip~

Misty and the girls had finished eating when she decided to text Mark hoping that he wasn’t in the middle of a recording session.

Misty: Hey Mark

Markiplier: Hey Misty…so are you ready for Freddy?

Misty: You know it! It’s gonna take me at least thirty minutes to get there though…got to drop off Amber and Lilly.

Markiplier: K LOL so did you have fun shopping? *laughs sarcastically*

Misty: oh c’mon you know my answer I absolutely hate shopping!
