Scripture:
Luke 23:26-49 NIV
"As the soldiers led him away, they seized Simon from Cyrene, who was on his way in from the country, and put the cross on him and made him carry it behind Jesus. A large number of people followed him, including women who mourned and wailed for him. Jesus turned and said to them, "Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me; weep for yourselves and for your children. For the time will come when you will say, 'Blessed are the childless women, the wombs that never bore and the breasts that never nursed!' Then " 'they will say to the mountains, "Fall on us!" and to the hills, "Cover us!" ' For if people do these things when the tree is green, what will happen when it is dry?" Two other men, both criminals, were also led out with him to be executed. When they came to the place called the Skull, they crucified him there, along with the criminals-one on his right, the other on his left. Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." And they divided up his clothes by casting lots. The people stood watching, and the rulers even sneered at him. They said, "He saved others; let him save himself if he is God's Messiah, the Chosen One." The soldiers also came up and mocked him. They offered him wine vinegar and said, "If you are the king of the Jews, save yourself." There was a written notice above him, which read: THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS. One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: "Aren't you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!" But the other criminal rebuked him. "Don't you fear God," he said, "since you are under the same sentence? We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong." Then he said, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom. " Jesus answered him, "Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise." It was now about noon, and darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon, for the sun stopped shining. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two. Jesus called out with a loud voice, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit." When he had said this, he breathed his last. The centurion, seeing what had happened, praised God and said, "Surely this was a righteous man." When all the people who had gathered to witness this sight saw what took place, they beat their breasts and went away. But all those who knew him, including the women who had followed him from Galilee, stood at a distance, watching these things."

Think:
Jesus died for us. Would you do that for someone? Like really? I mean not just die peacefully either, a brutal one. To be beat, to be mocked, to have a crown of thorns placed on your head, having it jab into your skull and to finally be hung on a cross, where you have to push up on your feet, that are nailed into a piece of wood, to just breath. Jesus did and He was pure, He had never sinned but yet he died for ours.

My Description:
I open my eyes and feel the wind pass by me. I look down and see I'm dressed in a cloth like dress they wore back in the BC times and I feel cloth over my hair covering it.

I am too focused on my attire to notice the scene behind me. I hear a scream and quickly spin around to see people crowed around three crosses. I hear them, the people the are yelling, no mocking whoever is on the cross.

I go closer, and squeeze threw the crowed till I have a view of the person they are mocking. I look over the person and close my eyes tightly. This person..He has been beaten, and hung to the cross by nails. He looks as in He is in so much pain. Yet He is so quiet, taking everything these people are doing.

I open my eyes more carefully, and look over him agin but this time I try to ignore the blood and gashes about his body. I notice a crown on his head it's.. Its made of thorns. I continue my eyes up until I reach a sign. It said: THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS. Who? Who is this man. This all sounds so familiar. I look around and see other people and hear the people still mocking the poor Man.

I notice a woman beside me, she looks sad like she is about to burst into tears. Trying to ignore her almost weeping state I tap her earning her attention. "Excuse me but can you tell me who He is?" I question pointing to the man.

She gives me a small smile and says "He is my Master, and Lord Jesus." I gasp at her words. I whip my head back to the cross and look closely to the Man, my Savior, My Jesus.

Tear graze my eyelids. How could anyone do this? What? Why? This is Jesus! No! No they can't do this! I shake my head and start walking backwards until I trip on a rock and land on my butt. I prop myself on my elbows, and notice this all still going on. I try to squeeze my eyes to make this all stop. I open my eyes and try to focus on one thing, on Him, Jesus. I.. I don't know what to do. I feel my heart break then I hear Jesus speak "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit." My tears fall as I watch him take his last breath.

I feel the ground beneath me shake and the grey sky's darken. I.. I have nothing to say.

Review:
So I'm sure most of you have heard the story of Jesus's crusifiction. If not, then you are now. Jesus was a man, the Messiah. He was sent here to die for our sins and through him we are saved! On Friday April 3rd was Good Friday but it is also the day we honor Jesus crusifition.

In this scripture it told about what happen to Jesus. It is very hard for me to read at times because honestly Jesus is my best friend but I know that this happened for us and we need to be thankful that Jesus was willing to do this.

Message I got:
Honestly, my brain is packed with so many things we could take away from this. I mean Jesus died for us! He suffered, and he took the pain without a bad word or negative sentence said. He done it all for us so we could have eternal life!

My description was just what I think they saw and what I got from the words I read. I know that my description doesn't even give half of the hopeless and depressing feelings the followers of Jesus must have felt. I mean at this point they thought it was all over, that these horrible people had killed their Jesus, the Son of God! I can't even imagine what they must have felt, or what they thought they were supposed to do.

Today, if you haven't accepted Jesus into your life as your Savior I strongly say you should! He has done such great things for us and loves you so much! If you don't know how to and you want to you can message me and I can try and help you with the process, or you can simply talk with someone you trust.

If you are on your way to accepting Christ as your Savor, there are many scriptures you could read to help you! I personally like the 'Road to Romans' that helps you understand what you must do to accept Jesus but you still might want to speak to someone.

Soon, I will be posting the Road to Romans and will be attempting to explain what I got from each verse!
