"What do you. . . Need to tell me?" Celeste asked. Morgan sighed with her eyes closed. "We're Feys."
"You're crazy, Morgan."
"What the heck was that for!? You just simply say it like it was nothing!" Gabriel yelled at the Fey Queen. The brunette shrugged her shoulders. "I hope you understand, Celeste. I. . . I have to do a lot of explaining."
"I understand." The blue-eyed girl said.
"Really?" Willow, who was surprised, asked.
"Yup! I understand that this is a joke. Good one, Morgan. Good one. But I won't fall for it this time. And what the hell is a Fey?"
"A Fey, you ask, is a fairy. Fey is more commonly to our world, so we tend to be called like that. Morgan here, is our Fey Queen. Gabriel, is her older brother and guard. As for Willow. . . Well. . ." Cerise explained.
"I'm a Nymph." Willow added.
"Oh. Okay. What's a Nymph?"
"A Nymph is a spirit of nature. They are maidens and helpers of Mother Earth, Gaea. They are mostly born from trees, others, they are born from flowers." Gabriel informed.
"Okay. So can I leave now? All of you are just making me lose my mind, which you succeeded. Thank you very much." Celeste joked with a crooked smile. Scary. Morgan clenched her fist with strenght and gritted her teeth. "This isn't a joke, Celeste! This is real, not fake! So you better understand this or else!"
"Or else what?" Celeste asked, her eyebrows raised in amusement of Morgan's frustration.
"You're too dense to realize that I'm not joking! What's the point of telling you this if you don't belive me!?" The Fey Queen yelled at the blue-eyed girl, she didn't care if Celeste was a Butterfly or not. Celeste's crooked smile turned into a frown, she wanted to believe her, but deep down inside, a whisper was telling her not too, it wasn't Cassie, but someone else. She knew Morgan wouldn't lie to her. If she had a serious and dangerous tone, then it means she's taking it seriously, which was a sign. Celeste sighed with her eyes closed and said, "Fine. I'll hear your explanation. After you're done, I want to see proof."
Gabriel smirked, his arms crossed over his chest. "Good. About the proof thing, we won't have a problem about that for sure." Willow nodded and smiled. As for Morgan, she was happy to have another chance. She calmed down and took a deep breath before talking, "I'm glad to hear that, Celeste. I promise I'll tell you everything I know to explain." Celeste nodded.
It was silent, nobody knew what to say, not even Cerise. But that silent wasn't to stay that long. Gabriel fake coughed and broke the silence, "um. . . Where do we start?"
"We start now!" Cerise said. The Fey Healer just wanted the other Feys and Nymph to leave, it was a bothersome to have them inturuprting her afternoon herb tea. Morgan coughed aswell and closed her eyes before starting to explain, she said:
"Okay. I'm going to say this once and only once! Okay, where do I start? Oh yes! Celeste, I was lying to you this entire time."
"Don't you think I already knew that?"
"Do you want me to continue or not?"
"Go ahead. Be my guest."
"Okay. My name isn't Morgan. It's Diana, Queen Diana of the Feys. I'm a Fey, a fairy, if you'd like to call it. They're are five types of Fey. One: A Sprinkle Fey, fairy of water. Two: A Blaze Fey, fairy of fire. Three: A Loam Fey, fairy of Earth. Four: A Breeze Fey, fairy of the wind. And finally, and my least favorite: A Dark Fey, more commonly know as Night Terrors. They're dark fairies."
"Soooooo, where do I fit into this?" Celeste asked.
Gabriel groaned.
Do she even have a brain? She's too dense to even realize that she's one of us, but stronger, he thought.
"You, my friend, are one of us, a Fey. You are from the Zephyr Court. The Court of the Breeze Feys. You are one of the Butterflies, a warrior, who brings peace to our world. One of the strongest of the four." Willow said. "What's a Butterfly. Is it the insect or a special type of Fey?" Celeste asked.
Asshat! You're to foolish enough to understand the case we are in! Believe me, I know way to much. I comprehend the situation. . . For now. Just listen to what they have to say. If you don't, then you'll get to nowhere but to me. Cassie scolded at her outer-self.
Whatever. I still think this is a prank.
That's your shadow self speaking.
"A Butterfly, is a female Fey warrior. There are four of them. Each Court has one Butterfly. Eventually, like Willow said, you are from the Zephyr Court. The others are from the other three. We need to find them as soon as possible." Morgan informed, her hands on her hips.
"Oh. . . How come I only have an inner-self?" Celeste asked.
"You're not the only one. All Feys all have an inner-self. They guide us to the right or wrong path. However, they do tend to lie and lead you to your death. They're not the smartest, but they do know more about Fey history. It's like a maze with nothing but white walls. It is dull. But it does lead a way. Think about it." Gabriel said.
"Okay. And one last question. What's a shadow self?"
Morgan perked up. Her happy face turned into anger. Her brown bangs were covering her hazel eyes, with her head down and said, "a shadow self. . . I haven't heard that word in eight centuries. They are horrible creatures that lure in the shadows of the day and night. Apparently, only Butterflies seem to have both, an inner-self and shadow self. They are monsters that tempt you and make you lose control of your body. They are worst than inner-self's. However. . . There is a way to disregard them. You must have a bright self. That makes three slef's inside you."
"Woah. . . Your world sounds better than the real one. . ." Celeste showed a warm smile on her face. Gabriel gritted his teeth and said, "it may sound nice and all, but do not let the disguise fool you. It is is a world of chaos since all the Butterflies disappeared or died. The Courts were allies but now. . . They are full of cruelness and hatred. They won't even listen to Queen Diana's reasonings. She won't allow war come between her Courts. And that is where the Dark Feys come in the picture."
"How come?" The blue-eyed Fey inquired with concern. She was very interested of this, despite the fact that she's a Butterfly, that will be on some other time. But for now, she must be informed about this Fey world and its whereabouts.
"Dark Feys consume all hatred and sadness. When they feed on chaotic feelings that were made intentionally, they get weaker. They must feed on the unexpected feelings of sadness, or else they would die of hunger. And the Courts have unexpected hatred emotions, they didn't knew that disorder will come between the Elemental Courts. Until. . The Battle of Queen Tanya came to them." Willow informed. After speaking of this information, the Feys and the Nymph were quivering with hints of fear on their eyes. Celeste noticed this and asked them what's wrong. "It's just that. . . Queen Tanya passed away during that battle, and the Dark Feys one. That's where all the hatred of the Courts began. During that time, the Courts were not working in alliance, they were all glaring and threatening eachother. It was like. . . Something was possessing them." Cerise said. She was quiet and let the Fey Queen and her brother speak. Cerise knew about this because she was a part of the battle. She was a Sprinkle Fey, until, she decided to retire her non-aging life to live as a Fey Healer. "Okay! We will talk more about Feys later! let's go to Sprite! Oh man! I forgot about it! Gabriel we need to protect Butterfly Titania." Willow exclaimed.
"Sprite?" Celeste asked. Gabriel nodded.
"That's the name of the Fey palace." Morgan said.
Ugh! Why now!?! It's torture to go there! Cassie groaned.
Shut up, Cassie! I bet it'll be lovely. Celeste told her.
Ha! You wish!
"What are you guys protection me from?"
"I wish I knew. But I know 'it', is a monster, from what I heard from the Council. We need a force field on you. Cerise, do you have more of those force field flower?" The Fey Queen said. Cerise didn't spare a moment to find the flower. After a couple of minutes, Cerise came back with a small purple flower with hints of black swirls on the petals.
"Swallow. Don't chew." Cerise said with a serious expression. She gave Celeste the flower. The Butterfly took it away from the Fey Healers gaps and swallowed it without asking what it was. Within seconds, a transparent shield formed around Celeste. Its colors were light blue and black and green vines as swrils. It was like an electrical barrier that had shock waves on it that will shock anyone who touched it.
Willow and Gabriel had surprised faces. Morgan had a plain expression, like it was nothing intresting. Perhaps she seen this magical force multiple of times.
"This is a force field. It won't allow any communication with other beings, excluding Feys. It will protect you from it. Your scent will probably increase, but a different smell. So it will be hard to locate you, now that you have a different scent on you. The force field will last for a couple of hours or so. It will keep you safe for now." Cerise said.
"I have never seen anything like this in my whole entire four-hundred years of life!" Willow exclaimed. Gabriel stoped Willow from speaking by covering her mouth with his hand. "Willow, it is rude to tell people your age so suddenly! It might also freak out Butterfly Titania!"
"But it is the truth! You know I can't keep a secret! I'm a blabber mouth!"
"Okay. . . I guess this is real. . ." Celeste mumbled to herself. "This is real. You just don't realize it. You're like a snail hiding inside its shell. Your fellow companions tell you that everything will be alright. But you won't come out until you see proof. How can you see proof if you're hiding and won't come out? It is unbearable to learn the truth in a surprised way, you'll soon realize that everything around you is real, not fake. You'll realize that your thoughts came through you and took advantage of your fears of lies. Your body is also an enemy. Sometimes it will make you feel lazy and that isn't good. Humans, and even Feys, need a healthy life in order to survive. Your body will also ignore the challenges that are hard to keep up with, it's like an empty she'll with nothing but yourself hiding inside it with fears and doubts. You're hiding, Celeste. Let it all out and let your positive thoughts take over. Nothing bad will happen if you understand the truth. I promise that everything will take one step at a time in order for you to comprehend our world and life. Don't hide and doubt the truth. Life isn't supposed to be an empty shell, it is supposed to be a full shell with happy memories of life. No lies. No sadness. No more fears. And. . . No more doubts." Morgan said with sad eyes. Celeste understood what the Fey Queen ment. Morgan wanted her to understand and believe in faith and the truth. Everything will be alright. If you keep hiding. . . Then what's the point of comprehending life? Nothing. Believe on others and on yourself. Don't hide from the truth. Don't hide from your fears and doubts. Just ignore them. Don't let it consume you and let you become a heartless person with no reason to live. It's a part of you that all people have, including Feys. Just ignore them and let them be. You can hide, but that won't get you anywhere.
Just. . . Believe in the truth. Nothing bad will come. . . Nothing sad or mad will consume you. . . Just understand what you truly say and feel. That's the real you that wants to get out and believe in the truth. Never let your fears or doubts get the better of you. . .
