Apologies, Suspension, and Ray Being Ray

Tira's POV

"I'm so sorry!" Rose apologized, standing in front of Derrick like that was going to protect him. I was holding back my laughter though because he looked like fell and rolled down the crack back at Grace Field.

"It's fine," Isabella said with a smile. Ray rolled his eyes, Don still looked pissed, and Emma was just looking worried.

"I don't know why you're the one apologizing," Ray said without batting an eye.

Let's go back for a second.

Rose and Isabella got to the school and went into the principal's office. I was happy to see Mrs. Holly since she was nice unlike that bastard from Phil's school. Anyways, we see Ray, Emma, and Don looking fine, just mad if anything, and chilling on the chairs that were on the opposite side of the room of Derrick, who was bandaged up. Mrs. Holly was not happy of course, and we find out that Derrick was the one who started the fight, but of course we know who ended it.

Ray.

The one who rice krispied my arm.

Yeah I'm still mad about that.

Back at the present I was 0% shocked with what Ray just said. It was such a Ray thing to do, why would I be surprised? Rose looked like she just got kicked though and Derrick looked like we just partied on his grandma's grave, not that I know if she's dead or not.

Anyways, apparently Derrick said some dumb stuff like "no wonder you're an orphan" and Ray went "ok".

Yeah, I guess Derrick didn't like that?

So then some screaming happened, Emma and Don tried standing up for Ray, and then Derrick got so mad he threw the first punch which of course, they all dodged. Ray pushed Emma and Don behind him and then proceeded to "wipe the floor" with Derrick, or at least that's what some of the people were saying.

"Derrick, apologize!" Rose said pushing him forward and I could SEE how much she wanted to slap him then and there. Derrick clicked his tongue and Ray held a hand up.

"I don't want an apology from someone who doesn't mean it. Save it for an idiot who'll care."

... I feel like he's talking about Emma... Or that could just be me.

Derrick rolled his eyes and stepped back but it looked like he was less mad? What the heck happened in the five seconds that it took for Ray to finish his sentence?

"Well it seems like that's that," Isabella said with a clap of her hands. She turned to Mrs. Holly, the best principal, and said something before we all got to leave, the four of them suspended for fighting.

"What did you tell Mrs. Holly, Isabella?" Rose asked as we all got into the van.

"Oh nothing much, just that my children will be getting homeschooled so she won't have to worry about them anymore." Rose nodded while Derrick spun in his seat and stared at her and then at Ray.

"What?!"

"Derrick!"

"Like I get Ray but those two seem kinda stupid if you ask me."

"Derrick don't be so rude!"

"He's not wrong." Everyone minus Isabella who was driving spun to look at Ray in shock. Who wouldn't be? He just defended Derrick out of all people!

"Emma is kind of stupid and Don isn't the smartest when it comes to things like common sense," Ray continued.

"Hey!!!" Emma and Don both shouted at him. The two of them tried justifying themselves and Derrick and Rose were staring at the three of them like this was some kind of rare thing to see siblings bicker like this.

"Don't forget, you also don't remember who helped us!"

A/N: WHAT IS EVEN GOING ONNNNNNN TWT Ray is savage as always and Tira is still salty about the arm, but that's kind of understandable, I'd be extra salty about it, even more than her. But Ray? Defending Derrick? What has the world come to?! Maybe their relationship will get better?
