Making her way through the large glass doors, the girl took a deep breath, already looking forward to the evening. Slowly reaching the reception, she handed $ 3 to the hotel administrator, stating her desire to stay on the 8th floor for one night.

After receiving the key, Audrey went to the elevator and before pressing the right button she carefully looked around. The whole floor was filled with something sticky and disgusting; an unpleasant smell came from it and the girl decided to get to the right floor as soon as possible.

Opening the door of the room, she immediately scattered the things from her bag all over the bed and took a dark brown notebook, several pens and a small kitchen knife.

Audrey chose this particular floor because it is located in the middle and in case of danger it will be more convenient to get to the room no matter where she is.

There was not much time so the girl moved around the floors at high speed in order to have time to view everything.

Her attention was mainly focused on the upper floors, since it was there that the most terrible things that are mentioned in the newspapers usually happened. A couple of rooms on the 3rd and 7th floors also attracted her attention, but there was nothing interesting there.

Starting from the 12th floor completely disappointed Audrey who had already lost any fear stopped at each door carefully listening. When no sounds came from the room, she slowly pulled the handle in the hope that the owner had forgotten to lock it. She was lucky twice and this gave some hope for a successful conclusion of this case.

Passing to number 1418, the girl silently leaned her warm cheek against the icy wooden door, listening attentively. She could hear something like a radio coming from somewhere in the back of the room.

"That stupid whore finally got out of here?" a deep voice was heard that made Audrey hurriedly recoil from the door. Probably, the man thought that now the room belongs to her.

"I don't think so," she glanced at a tall, gloomy guy who standing a couple of meters away from her and waved her head in the direction of the room. Music could be heard without even listening.

"Then what the hell are you doing here?"

"A project for college" the girl replied, waving a notebook in her hand.

"Don't waste your time," the man said, walking around Audrey to open his door. She stared at the stranger, not understanding what he was talking about. Noticing this he grinned.

"Time is more important than studying. It's better to leave it for what you really like."

"What if I like to study?"

"Damn how can you enjoy studing?" he raised an eyebrow in surprise.

"I like to feel smarter than everyone else" smiling broadly the girl walked past the guy's room, continuing her little investigation.
