It was a bright and sunny summer morning, with not a single cloud in the sky, it was perfect for today's hiking trip! Tiffany swung her car keys around her finger and got into her white off-road jeep. She stuck the car keys in the engine starter, the loud roar of the engine was comforting to Tiffany, she looked at the mirror and rolled her eyes

"Ugh, my hair is so messy," Tiffany huffed as she combed through her wavy red hair, she lowered her sunglasses revealing her sparkly blue eyes,

"Damn! I look hot!" Although she wasn't wrong considering she was rocking the ripped jeans and a light purple spaghetti strap shirt. Tiffany punched in the details on her GPS and perched it up on the dashboard, Tiffany gripped the steering wheel tight, and pressed the gas pedal, the car lunged forward and zoomed out of the driveway

Tiffany thought as she was driving, considering her radio wasn't working and it was a long drive, it was just her and her thoughts,

The GPS started giving directions to the hiking trail Stone Meadows she and her friends had picked. They had another friend, Hailey, that had died not too long ago in a car accident. Lindsey was with Hailey and watched it when it happened and she had to go to therapy for a long time after that. Tiffany shook her head, she didn't like thinking about Hailey, it seemed like it had been years since she heard of Hailey or Lindsey even though it's been three months, but she was happy when Lindsey was the one to suggest that they go out again, so naturally, they did. Tiffany wasn't much of a hiker but she was a good friend and when Lindsey suggested they go hiking she backed her up. She found it a little odd because Lindsey had never really been into hiking before but now, she was? Maybe it was the trauma from seeing one of her closest friends die.

Everyone let Lindsey pick the trail because they thought she knew what she was doing, she seemed pretty confident and the happiest she's been ever since.

Tiffany snapped out of her thoughts realizing she arrived in the small opening in the woods, the sun just barely peeking through the leaves, there was barely any grass on the ground, with mainly small rocks and dirt covering the small opening, Tiffany rolled down her window and took a deep breath and smelt the fresh air, the forest seemed almost perfect, like something you would see in a book!

Tiffany looked around noticing how she had fallen in close third to Lindsey and Valarie, who had come in the same car as they both went to the same university and were very conveniently in the same dorm, it only made sense that they came together.

"Hey, Tiff!" Lindsey called out, almost louder than Madison's car that was just pulling into the small clearing Lindsey brushed off her black and red floral.

"Hey!" Tiffany exclaimed

"OMG! TIFF YOUR ON TIME?!" Valarie beamed, she pushed her night-black hair behind her ear and ran towards Tiffany as she got out of her car.

"I KNOW RIGHT" yelled Tiffany, she was immediately attacked by Valarie who hugged her waist, the latter being much shorter in height, Valarie looked up at Tiffany, her black eyes gleaming Valarie pushed her circular glasses up, Valarie let go and smiled from ear to ear, Tiffany was happy that everyone was getting together again, and it seemed Valarie thought the same.

Madison exited her car and ran at Tiffany from behind trying to scare her but little did she know that Tiffany knew she was there, so right as Madison was about to jump scare Tiffany she moved out of the way, causing her to stumble over and fall. Madison got up off the ground with the help of Valarie.

"Hey Maddie," said Lindsey sarcastically

"Hey Girl!" Madison grinned as an alarm on her phone goes off very loudly
