Chapter 11

"Welcome, to the Mildian Battle Colosseum!"

"Colosseum?" 

"What are those things?" Weisz inquired as he surveyed the 'patrons' of the Colosseum.

"Perhaps the planet's inhabitants?" Pino made a suggestion.

"Past, Present, and Future...I know all things. This mean I know everything that will happen, it's very boring. So I put one restriction on my ability to know" She wiped the drool trailing down her lips. "I cannot know the outcome of a battle! The collision of muscle against muscles! Blood and sweat flying everywhere!!" Xiaomei threw her fists into the air. "Who will win? I don't know! And it's just too delicious!"

As they stared up at her, Y/n, Rebecca, and Weisz deadpanned.

"Her character sure changed." As a bead of sweat trickled down his cheek, Weisz murmured.

Y/n squinted her eyes. "Such a weirdo." "Scary" Rebecca added.

"YES!! The results of battle are the one thing I don't know!!!" Xiaomei leaned back rather low as she gushed over the upcoming matches. "That's why it FIRES me up! So FIRED up, I'm BURNING!! It's time to battle! Battle, BATTLE!!!" "Who will be the challenger?!"

"Oops...That's an answer I do know." 

"Wait a minute."  Shiki called out.

"Eh?"

"I have no idea what's going on."

"What! You're slow on the uptake, aren't you?" She pointed down at them. "One from your party and one of my warriors are going to have a battle! Right here! And if you win, I'll answer your question!"

"Ah, I see!" 

"In that case, I shall..."

"I'll do it.." Shiki said, interrupting Homura.

 "But.." 

"I really wanna move my body! So just leave it to me!" Shiki said as he adjusted his arm and proceeded forward.

"You better not lose!" Weisz shouted at him.

"You can do it, Shiki!" "Good luck!" As he walked forward, Y/n and Rebecca encouraged him. Shiki turned around and gave them a thumbs up with a wide grin.

Happy looked up at Xiaomei. "But...If you don't know how the battle ends, doesn't that mean you don't know the future after it, either?"

"The future branches into several possibilities. I have seen a future in which you win and one in which you don't." "The future is not set in stone. 'The future can be changed' That is one of my favorite sayings. Don't forget it!"

Except for Shiki, the group was surrounded by a gloomy aura, which Rebecca groaned at. "How convenient that the only thing she doesn't know is the outcome of the battle."

"Convenience confirmed." Pino added as Happy, Tiko and her came into view.

When the group arrived on this planet, they were placed into a colosseum and literally forced to fight in order to gain the information they needed on Valkyrie.
