Demons run when a good man goes to war
Night will fall and drown the sun
When a good man goes to war
Friendship dies and true love lies
Night will fall and the dark will rise
When a good man goes to war
Demons run, but count the cost
The battle’s won, but the child is lost
When a good man goes to war...

The word doctor,
Should means a man of healing
Of caring,
And of love.
But you make them so very afraid,
oh so very afraid Doctor.
You say you are just a man,
But oh you are so much more than just a foreign man.
Is this what you thought you would become?
An empire of his own hand?
You save worlds,
And destroy galaxies,
You live up to your name, of a time lord
A god and destroyer.
A man of war.
To the people of the Gamma Forrest,
Your name of healing has been twisted by you
And you alone
A word of saving, and a word of hope
means mighty warrior of the globe.
Is this what you thought you would become?
All those many years ago?
A man of wisdom,
A man of hope
Bought down by his own good deeds?
Able to turn whole armies with the mention of just his name.
All the deaths today,
All the suffering
Is not done for country, for king nor for glory,
All this was done,
Is done
In fear for you.
My love
